As a Masters Swim Coach you will help lead and inspire swimmers through high-quality instruction that fosters a joy for developing and participating in the sport of swimming. The SHARKS is a YMCA/USA Swim Team located in Beverly, Gloucester, Haverhill, Ipswich, Salem and Marblehead along the North Shore near Boston. We are a 6 site team with over 300 competitive age group swimmers from age 5 -18 of varying levels, 50 pre-competitive swimmers, and up to 70 Masters Swimmers in six locations.  On a regular day you will  conduct group practices, analyze swim techniques and determine skill levels, develop individualized swimming programs, educate swimmers on various techniques and styles, and oversee training....

This may be the role for you!  As an Aquatics Specialist, you will help children of all ages develop proper swimming techniques and skills through quality instruction.  The Aquatics Specialist is a leader with a talent for teaching others the skills to safely swim in the water and you will also be the bridge between the our YNS Swim Academy and the YNS Competitive Swim program.  Day to day you will prepare lessons, lead swim classes, assess the skill levels of all swimmers, and coach the YNS Competitive Swim Team.
