The Head Swim Coach is responsible for coaching Bainbridge Island Swim Club student-athletes in competitive swimming techniques. This position directs a year-round USA Swimming program that provides a fun, safe, and enjoyable environment while developing teamwork, promoting sportsmanship, and encouraging athletes and coaches to achieve personal development.

BISC practices and competes at the Park District's Aquatic Center which consists of two pools. The Ray Williamson Pool is a six-lane 25-yard pool primarily used by our swim clubs, water polo teams, and recreational fitness swimmers. The Don Nakata Memorial Pool was built in 2001 and includes a 180-foot water slide, lazy river, sloped beach entry, tot pool, water features, toddler frog slide, one and three-meter diving boards, and four 25-yard lap lanes. The facility also houses a spa, steam room, sauna room, and three locker rooms.
