Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Director-Aquatics Center, assist with the planning, organizing, control, and direction of the daily operations, programs, and activities of the Aquatic Center to comply with established laws, codes, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Be responsible for developing, scheduling, and with the help of assistant coaches, coach the swim team.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Nutrition, Physical Education, Business Management, or similar field; three years of increasingly responsible pool maintenance and operations experience; three years of swim team coaching, teaching physical education, certified swim instruction, or related experience with one year experience as a head coach or supervisory coach within an aquatics program; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary: Based on the 2021 – 2022 Classified Salary Schedule – $25.36 – $31.72 per hour depending on past related experience, plus insurance and retirement. Full Time; Benefitted.
