Head Girls’ Swim & Dive Coach

Mullen High School is seeking to hire an energetic and committed Head Girls’ Swim & Dive
Coach. The Coach is expected to provide leadership, plan, organize, and be responsible for a
comprehensive and competitive interscholastic swim & dive program as well as present an
enthusiastic professional looking squad to represent the entire athletic program. This position
reports to the Athletic Director.

Essential Job Functions:
● Create and maintain a positive culture that helps students grow as student athletes and
individuals
● Demonstrates the objectives of the school’s core principles and values in accordance with
its Mission
● Development of lower level program(s) and coaches to include varsity assistant coaches
with the expectation to follow and exemplify the school’s Mission
● Direct oversight of the program’s booster club
● Be a positive role model consistent with the school’s Mission
● Maintain effective communication with athletes, boosters, school administration, staff,
students, parents and the community
Qualifications:
● Head coaching high school swim & dive experience preferred
● Comprehensive up-to-date knowledge of Swim and Dive, latest trends techniques,
strategies, and technical skills
● Possesses an enthused love for swim & dive and has a desire to develop the fundamental
skills of high school athletes
● Work within the framework of a Lasallian, Catholic, and College Prep institution

Compensation from $2,800 to $5,000, depending on years of experience.
This is a temporary, seasonal position and is not benefit eligible.
