SPA Swim Lesson Director

Sienna Premier Aquatics, located in Missouri City, TX, is seeking a passionate, experienced and positive full time swim lesson director to lead the SPA SwimAmerica lesson program. This position will start as soon as possible. SPA SwimAmerica is a year-round lesson program that reaches over 250 children a year. Our mission is to develop champions for life through a goal oriented, developmentally appropriate program encompassing the "WHOLE" person. This is achieved through an empowered organization focused on excellence and quality. 

Swim Lesson Director Requirements

1. Current USA Swimming Coaches Certification and ASCA Certifications or ability to achieve such prior to starting

2. Background in management required

3. Excellent communication and customer service skills

4. Desire to work with and lead a team of committed coaches to achieve excellence 

5. Excels on and off the deck and is adaptable

Swim Lesson Director Duties

1. Maintain and execute the lessons schedule based on swimmer sign ups and instructor availability

2. Manage a group of 6 or more lesson instructors

3. Ensure lesson quality and enforce SPA and SwimAmerica policies and standards

4. Oversee continuing education and training of instructors

5. Establish an environment that fosters positive individual and team attitudes, encourages self-discipline, sportsmanship and responsibility

6. Abide by all club policies

7. Assist in marketing and fundraising efforts as needed and directed

8. Opportunities to work with swim team may be available

9. Report to the Head Coach and Associate Head Coach

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Assistance with relocation can be provided.
