Lead & Assistant Coaches

Inspire Swimming is a small club operating inside the loop (specifically, we swim at a private facility called The Briar Club). We are looking for lead and assistant coaches to join our staff.

Lead coach responsibilities and expectations include:

• Promote our mission: Inspire swimmers to reach their full potential both in and out of the pool through meaningful, supportive, and individual coaching.
• Prepare and run practices for their group(s) in line with Inspire's curriculum. Practices are run on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings most of the year, and a combination of weekday mornings and evenings (along with Saturday mornings) in the summer. Certain holidays have slightly different schedules.
• Attend meet sessions for their group(s) approximately one weekend per month (sometimes more).
• Communicate clearly and proactively with other coaches, swimmers, and parents.

Assistant coach responsibilities and expectations include:

• Promote our mission: Inspire swimmers to reach their full potential both in and out of the pool through meaningful, supportive, and individual coaching.
• Help the lead coaches run practices in line with Inspire's curriculum. Practices are run on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings most of the year, and a combination of weekday mornings and evenings (along with Saturday mornings) in the summer. Certain holidays have slightly different schedules.
• Attend meet sessions as assigned (approximately one weekend per month, sometimes more).
• Communicate clearly with other coaches, swimmers, and parents.

Salary for either position is commensurate with experience and position's expectations.
