PROFESSIONAL - DYNAMIC - MOTIVATED
Prosper Aquatic Club (PAC) is currently looking to fill multiple positions with our club. We are seeking an age group coach to be a lead group coach as well as a senior assistant and senior groups coach.
About Prosper Aquatic Club:
The Prosper Aquatic Club (PAC) is a member of USA Swimming and a Prosper ISD program. PAC is a year-round competitive swim team with over 270 swimmers; and a newly-formed water polo club with over 50 participants. Recently founded in 2020, this program is located at the beautiful PISD Natatorium in Prosper, TX.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Learning the PAC training terminology, vocabulary and then being able to apply the lessons learned into daily practice.
· Inspiring, dedicated coach and swimming subject matter expert.
· Ability to demonstrate mature judgment, reliability, availability, and ethical behavior including punctuality, confidentiality, positive and constructive feedback, and ability to function in a multi-task environment.
· Ability to meet all USA Swimming certification and coaching requirements (CPR, Safety Training for Swim Coaches, USA Swimming Background Check, Athlete Protection, Lifeguard, First Aid, Concussion, etc.)
· Must be able to attend all assigned team functions (practices, meets, etc.)
· Must be available to travel for meets, clinics, etc.
Swimmer development:
· Emphasize proper stroke technique and understand the progression of PAC Age Group levels up to PAC Senior levels.
· Plan, prepare, and conduct team practices in a cohesive fashion, so we are able to guide swimmers throughout the program.
· Manage, observe, and constructively evaluate swimmer performance at practices and meets to enhance technique and motivation.
Minimum Requirements:
· Meet all USA Swimming coaching requirements.
· Must be a US citizen or currently eligible to work in the US.
· Have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
· Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as social media).
· Be able to motivate swimmers of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
· 2-4 years competitive swim coaching experience with a USA Swimming club (head age group coaching preferred), and coaching membership that is in good standing with USA Swimming.
· Must be energetic, patient, constructive, and can provide effective instructions to all ages/abilities of swimmers.
· Demonstrates the ability to work well and communicate effectively with parents, coaching staff, and administrators.
· Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
· Enthusiasm for continuing their coaching education
These are PART-TIME positions, and are capped at 20 hours per week.
Pay rate for these positions is $25 per hour.

Our coaching staff has extensive knowledge, and years of training compiled into our custom programs that range from International level competition, to our learn to swim safety program. Our quality of professional coaching and technical instruction can be modified for all ages and abilities.
The goal of our team is to provide every Prosper community member an opportunity to improve on their swimming skills in order to achieve success at any level. We are excited about bringing the Prosper community a custom curriculum and programming facility that is geared towards finding success at all levels.
