Masters Coach

Durham Area Masters Aquatics (DAMA) is seeking a permanent swim coach for morning practices (Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 6:15 am - 7:30 am) at Campus Hills Recreation Center in Durham, NC. USMS experience is preferred but not required. Assistance with the creation of workouts can be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Write and coach swimming workouts

Adapt all teaching approaches to the age, experience, and ability of each participant

Communicate regularly with participants to ensure they are aware of progress

Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules, and regulations

Accurately complete records and reports

Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed

Ability to work in a wet pool environment

Must possess strong customer service skills

Ability to multitask and be well organized

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to communicate effectively with others, verbally and in writing

Starting pay: $22.50 per practice
