Jets Aquatic Club (www.jonesborojets.com), located in Jonesboro, Arkansas, is searching for a Head Coach. Club Information:

The Jets are a competitive year round USA swim club with a successful developmental and competitive AAU summer program. 2023 marks the 65th anniversary of the Jets program since its inception in 1958. Jets Aquatic Club is a USA-S Level 4 recognized club comprised of approximately 70+ athletes from beginning level age group swimmers to swimmers who have won multiple state championships over the years, to multi year Zone and Sectional Finalists and Junior National Level qualifiers. The team trains primarily at the Jonesboro City Pool and has community partners that provide additional pool availability in the summer and winter months. We are eagerly anticipating the construction of a new 50 meter indoor pool with a separate 25 yard warm up area. Construction is set to begin this year.
Jets Aquatic Club is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization and is supported by a parent-run volunteer board of directors.

We are looking for an individual who will continue to develop and maintain a competitive program that fosters growth and development of all swimmers:

  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and administrative skills.
  • Lead development, planning, organizing and implementation of our competitive swim program.
  • Desire to keep up with current swimming techniques and training methods.
  • Love for the sport and talent to help our swimmers reach their maximum
    potential.

  • Strong moral compass and behaviors consistent with USA Swimming and ASCA Code of Ethics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of coaching experience (head coach experience preferred).
  • Competitive swimming experience at the club or collegiate level.
  • ASCA Level 2 (with a 4 year college degree) or ASCA Level 3 or equivalent professional achievement.
  • Current USA Swimming Coach Certification requirement.
  • Proficiency in Hy-Tek, Meet Manager, and TeamUnify.
  • Experience in supervising staff members and directing team activities, and planning club events preferred.
