Assistant Senior Coach and/or Head Age Group Coach

DUTIES: 

• Establish & maintain positive relationships and open communications with athletes, parents, and fellow staff members 

• Create fun, positive, exciting and engaging practices for ECST’s 14 and under swimmers.   

• Meet weekly with the Head Coach to discuss “wet” & “dry” topics such as planning, meet/practice schedules, club development, training strategies. Be in constant communication of all information, issues/concerns to the Head Coach regarding Age Group coaches/program.

• Meet with the Head Coach to direct practice sessions, meet schedules & assignments, and to discuss problems & opportunities 

• Oversee individual and team entries, submits entries and send out any relevant meet information for Age Group & Senior Level swim meets. 

• Fosters an environment within the swimming program that supports the mission of personal growth to individual and team greatness, integrity, sportsmanship, commitment to athletic and academic excellence in a positive environment. Enthusiastically participates in team functions and events.

• Lead athletes with a positive mental attitude 

• Be able to direct and develop all levels of athletes from beginner to high school level competitors 

• Attend all practices and meets scheduled 

EXPECTED HOURS: 

• 8 - 10 hours per week, 

• ECST will attend meets about once or twice per month (weekends)
