The Town has an immediate need for a Lifeguard in the Parks and Recreation department. As a Lifeguard, you will ensure safety of patrons in and around the aquatic facility.
In this position, you will provide the following service to our community:
• Prevent hazardous situations, enforce pool rules, and act quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitary conditions of the aquatic facility.
What you will need:
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, first aid, CPR, and AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Must be responsible and mature with the ability to act quickly and use sound judgment in potentially highly stressful situations.
Hours: Varies on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

Due to the nature of a government providing services to the public all duties of this position are required to be fulfilled at the designated worksite in the town. No remote work is available.
