This part time position is responsible for assisting the Central Iowa Aquatics lead group coaches within the guidelines established by the Head Coach. The primary objectives will be to:
· Assist the head coach in planning and conducting swim team practices.
· Provide guidance and support to swimmers during practice training sessions.
· Foster a positive and inclusive team environment.
Essential tools are excellent communication skills, working knowledge of proper stroke technique, being able to utilize the Commit Swimming and OnDeck apps and the CIA common language (both dry and wet), along with a contagious enthusiasm.
Additional responsibilities and requirements include but not limited to:
1. Obtain and maintain USA Swimming & ASCA certifications
2. Report any incidents in a timely fashion
3. Attend team meets/functions as requested by Head Coach
4. Be on time to scheduled shifts
5. Wear CIA team attire while working
6. Executes required timecard procedures
