Assistant Swim Coach

We are looking for an experienced Swim Coach.  The JCC Sailfish Swim Team is a year-round program based out of the JCC in Squirrel Hill and the Henry Kaufmann pool in Monroeville PA.  Looking for an individual with excellent leadership skills to support our team and coaching staff.

Job responsibilities of a Assistant Swim Coach:

·      Coaching primarily Age Group level swimmers.  Communicate and work with Age group coaches for each level

·      Setting season goals with swimmers

·      Develop workouts, which allows swimmers of different abilities to reach their highest potential while considering all learning styles

·      Learn each Sailfish level and gain an understanding of the entire program

·      Promoting and growing the team with motivation, leadership, and having fun

·      Communicate with parents to help with volunteering in different areas of the “dry side”

·      Works flexible hours including mornings (summer)/nights/weekends and attending swim meets (in/out of town)

Qualifications

·      1+ years of coaching experience

·      USA Swimming member and all certifications for coaching

·      Strong communication and administrative skills

·      Be flexible to all practice facilities (JCC Squirrel Hill, Allderdice HS, Henry Kaufmann Family Park in Monroeville)
