Assistant Summer Swim Coach

Join the Team and Serve as the Assistant Swim Coach for swimmers ages 5-18.

This position supports instruction and coaching duties for various age groups for evening practices for the months of Late May thru August 8, 2025 at the City of Poquoson Municipal Pool. Poquoson is located in eastern Virginia approximately 10 minutes from Langley Air Force Base on the Virginia Peninsula. The Team averages approximately 90 to 120 swimmers per season and Swims in the Greater Peninsula Swim Association Summer League hosting and traveling to various pools in the area each summer. The Season Culminates with a championship meet for qualifiers.

This position is paid and is based on qualifications and experience.

Coaches are expected to run practice with directing, leading and refine the swimming skills for all swimmers and prepare the team for meet operations and coach during meets. Paperwork and organization for meet set up is required.
