Head Swim Coach for Pine Richland Aquatics. Position would start immediately with interim probationary period during Long Course 2025.

Location: Pine-Richland High School, 700 Warrendale Rd., Gibsonia, PA 15044

Board of Directors

 

General Summary:

PRA is a year-round USA Swimming competitive swim team and aquatics program including a swim school and USA Diving developmental program. PRA operates under the Allegheny Mountain Swim LSC.

 

We are seeking an Interim Head Coach to oversee all aspects of our aquatics program with a focus on our competitive swim program with direct coaching responsibilities including the Senior Group and supervision of the entire age group program with assistant coaching staff.

 

The overall objective of the position is to guide and grow an aquatics program that promotes an enthusiastic and nurturing community around the sport of swimming for all levels of development from beginner to highly competitive elite swimmers. Head Coach will foster positive relationships and communicate well with coaching staff, swimmers, parents, and the Board of Directors. Competitive applicants must be confident in technique instruction, season planning, and program development.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

·       Serve as the overall Head Coach

·       Direct the team’s competitive program, providing leadership and guidance to the coaching staff and board

·       Develop the team’s training group structure, team policies, and follow all USA Swimming guidelines and requirements

·       Plan team practice schedule, meet schedule, meet entry assignments, and other meet administrative duties

·       Evaluate training plans and goals for swimmer development for all

athletes at all levels, including managing the planning of training cycles in conjunction with group lead coaches

·       Attend all member parent meetings in conjunction with the Board

·       Enforce Team and LSC Policy and Procedures

·       Organize and manage all coaching and administrative staff

assignments, responsibilities and career development

·       Act as a role model for members

·       Develop and implement a cohesive vision and coaching philosophy

·       Familiarity with Team Unify and Hy-tek products a plus but not mandatory

·       Must hold or be willing and able to obtain USA Swimming Coaching credentials

·       Must hold or be willing and able to obtain certifications in CPR, First Aid, Water Safety, and Athlete Protection training.

 

Salary: Pay will be commensurate with experience and will be determined with the board.
