Head Coach, USAS and USMS program

Lewis Clark Neptune Swimming, LLC is a coach owned and operated team in the Lewis Clark Valley. We are on the boarder of Washington and Idaho and have on average about 65-75 USAS swimmers. We are part of Inland Empire Swimming.  We also have a master's program with 25-30 adults, practicing 3 mornings a week.

The team was established as a summer USAS team in the 1970s, and became a year-round team in the early 2000's when a new indoor facility was built.  In 2007, the team became coached owned and has been owned and operated by the same head coach since.  

The area has approximately 60,000 residents between Lewiston and Clarkston, with several thousand more in close small towns.  The area is known for its outdoor recreation including hunting, fishing, hiking, boating, and more.  It is a great place to raise a family, and the swimming community is active and thriving. We have a beautiful 8 lane indoor 25 yard pool that we use September through mid-May, and an outdoor 6 lane 50 meter pool that we use mid-May through summer. 

Our current program is focused on quality and stroke technique (rather than quantity).  We focus on developing, promoting, and supporting champions both in and out of the pool.  Our USAS team has 4 groups (juniors, green, gray, and black groups).  Practices are currently Monday through Friday afternoons. We also have 2 assistant coaches currently.

Our USMS team practice 3 mornings a week. They are a great group of adults with varying abilities. They are also very supportive of our USAS team and are a valuable part of our swimming community.

This head coaching position is open due to an unexpected tragedy within our team. We are looking for someone to fill this position as soon as possible. However, we will be patient and wait for the right candidate as needed. We are looking for someone who desires to be a head coach and run and operate this program from the ground up.  The successful candidate will be committed to our swimming community long term and will have the potential to own the team (as a coach owned team/LLC).
