Hunt Valley Stingrays Dive Team (NVSL Division 3) – Hiring Head Coach and Assistant Coaches for 2025 Season
The Hunt Valley Stingrays Dive Team is seeking a Head Coach and Assistant Coaches for the 2025 summer season. Our team of approximately 40 divers (ages 5–18) values skill development, sportsmanship, and—most importantly—fun! We’re looking for passionate, motivated individuals who can foster a love for diving in a positive, supportive, and safe environment.
Plan and implement safe, age-appropriate practices for divers of all skill levels.
Instruct athletes on basic and intermediate dives (Forward, Backward, and Inward).
Provide constructive and encouraging feedback.
Attend all NVSL dual meets, the Cracker Jack Meet, Divisional Dive Championships, NVSL All-Star Championship Meet, and any mutually agreed-upon developmental meets.
Communicate clearly and calmly with athletes, parents, coaching staff, and team reps.
Lead and manage the dive coaching staff, including Assistant and Junior Coaches.
Oversee practice planning, meet preparation, and diver progression throughout the season.
Background in diving (e.g., summer league, high school, club, or collegiate).
Coaching experience preferred.
Enthusiastic about working with children and helping them grow as athletes.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
A collaborative and fun team environment.
Competitive salary based on experience.
Typically, 2–3 Assistant Coaches support the Head Coach.
