Compensation: $45,000-$65,000 depending on qualifications with potential for growth incentive.

High Point Swim Club (HPSC) is a year-round USA Swimming club that supports swimmers of all ages and abilities. We are committed to helping athletes grow as competitors and as individuals. Position Summary
HPSC is searching for a dynamic, motivated leader to grow our club both in and out of the pool. This is a full-time leadership role, responsible for coaching oversight, staff development, team operations, strategic planning, and community engagement.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about swimmer development, experienced in program leadership, and ready to shape the future of our team.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching & Program Leadership
- Lead the design and execution of all swim training programs (age group through senior).
- Coordinate and lead lesson program staff.
- Supervise and mentor assistant coaches and staff.
- Create seasonal plans and goal-setting strategies for all training groups.
- Cultivate a team culture of hard work, mutual respect, and inclusivity.
Strategic Vision & Club Growth
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors on long-term planning.
- Set and track goals for athlete progression and team performance.
- Support sustainable club growth and visibility in the community.
Operations & Financial Oversight
- Develop and manage the annual budget with support from the Board.
- Oversee team equipment purchases and inventory.
- Assist with club fundraising, sponsorships, and event planning.
Communication & Community Building
- Act as the primary point of contact for swimmers, families, staff, and the broader swim community.
- Represent the club at meets, events, and within local partnerships.
- Maintain clear, timely communication across all stakeholders.
Meet Management & Athlete Support
- Build the seasonal meet schedule and coordinate team participation.
- Provide individualized race strategy and mental preparation.
- Support swimmers in setting and achieving personal and team goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven leadership in a competitive swim program (head coach or equivalent).
- ASCA Level 3 Certification (or higher) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of swimmer development, training methodology, and team operations.
- Budget and staff management experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with athletes, families, and staff.
- Current USA Swimming certification (including safety training and background check).
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
