Swim Instructor

We are a newly opened swimming school now searching for FT/PT energetic, fun and responsible individuals who love to work with childrens and want to grow with us!

At Swimtelligent Swim Club we believe Swimming is an essential skill that everyone should learn and water safety should be a main concern for everyone. Swimming is a fun but potentially dangerous sport. Through every student we teach to swim we believe we have come closer to have potentially helped save a life.

We have toddler classes all the way thru adults lessons, experience and qualifications are preferred but not required,we provide in-house training. We are excited to welcome you to be part of our fun team.

Essential duties:

● Teaching swimming to all age groups, children and adults.

Responsible for setup and breaking down of lesson stations.

● Responsible for the safety of all clients; including in water and on deck.

● Prepare daily lesson plans based on swimtelligent level programs.

● Communications to customers and supervisors with positive energy.

● Track each student's learning progress and keep it in report.

● Answering parents’ questions as needed and communicating progress regularly.

● Attend training session when required.

● MUST wear a uniform for lessons that is provided by swimtelligent.

● Any other assigned duties.

Requirement

● Knowledge of swim strokes and formal swim instruction guidelines.

●High school or equivalent

● Candidates must be outgoing, willing to learn and have a passion for kids and water
● Be able to work alone in a lesson, 4-6 hours shift a day back to back lessons, at least 3 days a week
● Responsible, focus on each lesson
● Reliable transportation, being able to attend work on time.

Strongly preferred (+)
● Red cross WSI certification
● ASCA certification
● Background in swimming (teaching or participating)

● Competitive swim experience
● Experience with disabled or special needs
● Chinese speaking
