· Primary Responsibilities

•  Serve as Head Development Coach for 8-U Group and 9-12 year old Group
• Serve as Masters Head coach
• Provide a positive learning environment with structured instruction and fun.
•  Communicate with parents by providing a once/week update and return calls and emails within 24 hours
• Work with Head Age Group Coach to develop practice schedule.
• Coach at Swim meets usually 1-2/month
• Maintain USA Swimming certifications and follow all Safe Sport regulations and guidelines
• Recruit swimmers from area summer league by conducting clinics and visiting at dual meets

· Qualifications

• Previous swimming experience
• 2 years coaching experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with other coaches
• CPO license preferred or complete once hired
