The Masters Swim Coach at the West Morris Area YMCA creates a safe and positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals while promoting and maintain safety in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Preferred experience coaching adult swimming
· Background in swimming and knowledge of competitive swimming

· Physically perform all skills required of a coach.
· Hear noises and distress signals in the aquatic environment, including in the water and anywhere around the zone of responsibility.
· Remain alert with no lapses of consciousness.
· Ability to instruct and observe participants in proper stroke techniques.
HOURLY RATE: $16-$17
