Marketing Manager

Responsible for overseeing the planning, strategic development, distribution and analysis of Spectrum Aquatics/Alta’s brand and strategy for all areas of communication activities and marketing initiatives, in alignment with and in support of PlayCore’s mission, vision and strategic goals, to advance the reputation and overall brand of the company. Responsible for the design and execution of all Spectrum/Alta marketing, advertising, and promotional materials.

Your Daily Duties and Responsibilities will Include:

  • Research additional channels (online, distribution, etc.) to increase and expand presence in respective marketplace
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives to increase internet effectiveness, lead generation, new product launch advertising and communications, and general sales support
  • Coordinate/collaborate with engineering team for new product launches in a timely manner.
  • Analyze competition and gain market knowledge while identifying continuous improvement initiatives to support and gain market share growth
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams across the organization to ensure best practices and maximize efficiencies
  • Develop and manage marketing budget effectively within company guidelines
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as within a team
  • Plan, develop and implement comprehensive annual marketing and communications plans that supports the overall mission and objective of Spectrum/Alta and PlayCore
  • Responsible for maintaining a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to foster teamwork. Requires consistent on-time attendance.
  • Stay up-to-date in industry trends, market dynamics and competition
  • Develop a proactive media relations strategy and program designed to enhance the image and reputation of Spectrum/Alta; to ensure engagement with key audiences
  • Develop and analyze marketing metrics and report outcomes to management
  • Developing and implementing creative digital communications strategies including, but not limited to, web site, social media, brochures, annual company catalog and digital publications
  • Responsible for gathering and maintaining a library of product site photos


Travel

Travel required to tradeshows and group marketing meetings.

 

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing
  • Sports Information Directors welcome to apply
  • 3+ years related work experience
  • Knowledge of graphics and office software
  • Excellent communication skills

Computer Skills

Demonstrated proficiency with Photoshop, Microsoft Office Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook
