Job Description

K&B Sportswear is looking for a full-time Customer Service and Operations Specialist to help service customers on-line, in store, and at field events. In addition, we are seeking a self-motivated candidate with a strong attention to detail to maintain store and field operations, including inventory, shipping, reporting, and invoicing efforts.

Customer Service and Operations Specialist Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist customers in our retail store, our on-line store, by telephone, and at weekend and evening vendor events and provide top quality customer service
  • Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Manage necessary Administrative Assistant and Receptionist duties as needed in a thorough and detailed manner
  • Manage/track team and individual orders from order entry through delivery
  • Manage/Organize Operations in the store regarding existing inventory, and assist with new inventory delivery procedures
  • Pack/unpack for weekend swim meets and evening swim team sizings
  • Answer customer questions/concerns/issues at our call center / store with a complete focus on quality customer service and a positive outcome
  • Some weekends and weeknights are required to work at off-site swim meets and swim team sizings
  • Overtime hours may be available during our busy summer and fall seasons
  • Flexible hours may be available after successful onboarding
  • Travel 10%.

Customer Service and Operations Specialist Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or Higher
  • 2-5 years retail and customer service representative experience required
  • Operations experience required (inventory, shipping, reporting)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong Administrative Assistant skills required
  • Ability to handle multiple customer calls to our call center / store
  • Excellent written communication skills including the ability to independently compose correspondence
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to effectively respond to questions from customers
  • Valid drivers license needed
  • Swimming experience or knowledge is a plus
