The Smoky Hill Sharks Swim Team is seeking an energetic and team-driven Head Swim Coach to lead our summer league team. We are dedicated to having fun over the summer, while still challenging ourselves to grow.  It is the mission of the Smoky Hill Sharks to provide an opportunity for young people to develop swimming skills and a positive competitive swimming experience.  The team is eager to welcome a new Head Coach who will work closely with the board of directors to fulfill, and improve upon, l our mission. Waterfront Director Indian Acres · Fryeburg, ME · Mid June to Mid August Overview The Waterfront Director is responsible for the safety of campers and staff at the lake waterfront and pool. This is a senior leadership position that requires significant lifeguarding experience, extensive training, and advanced knowledge of water safety. The ideal candidate is a certified swim instructor with a formal background in aquatics management. Applications must have the ability to handle emergency situations. The Waterfront Director is responsible for all activities at the lake, waterfront and the pool.  Indian Acres is located on Lovewell Pond where campers enjoy swimming, sailing, boating, paddleboarding, water trampoline, and waterskiing. Indian Acres also has a heated Olympic pool where campers partake in instructional swimming each morning. San Benito High School has an immediate opening for Head Boys Swim Coach.  We are a large school of 3,200 students located in Hollister, CA, an easy commute of 35 miles to Santa Cruz or Monterey, CA.  Hollister has become a bedroom community for the Silicon Valley and we have a population of approximately 40,000 residents.  We still have working ranches and an agricultural community.  Many new homes are being built and we are definitely growing.  Our school has some of the "BEST" athletic facilities in California.  Our Baler Aquatics Center opened in 2019.  We have a learn to swim pool as well as a 50 meter competition pool which includes a diving well.  We are looking for a Head Coach who wants to re-build our program that our school and community can be proud of.  We always as interested in hiring teacher-coaches and have teaching jobs available.  Please email Athletic Director Tod Thatcher at tthatcher@sbhsd.k12.ca.us
