Position Summary: Tomball Area Swim Club (TASC) has an immediate opening for a motivated and enthusiastic part time Age Group Coach. We are a year-round, USA Swimming competitive team (currently comprised of 300+ swimmers) that operates at two facilities throughout the year. The Age Group Coach reports to the Head Coach and is responsible for teaching 14 & under swimmers and encouraging improvement at all levels of the organization and maintaining the highest safety standard at all times. Primary Objective of Position To coach, lead, and motivate athletes in practice groups, promoting improvement and growth, under the direction of the General Manager and Head Coach, in accordance with the guidelines set forth by Gulf Swimming Local Swimming Committees (LSC) and USA Swimming (USAS). Inspire Swimming is a small club operating inside the loop (specifically, we swim at a private facility called The Briar Club). We are looking for lead and assistant coaches to join our staff. Lead coach responsibilities and expectations include: Promote our mission: Inspire swimmers to reach their full potential both in and out of the pool through meaningful, supportive, and individual coaching. Prepare and run practices for their group(s) in line with Inspire's curriculum. Practices are run on weekday evenings most of the year, and a combination of weekday mornings and evenings in the summer. Certain holidays have slightly different schedules.
