Inspire Swimming is a small club operating inside the loop (specifically, we swim at a private facility called The Briar Club). We are looking for lead and assistant coaches to join our staff. Lead coach responsibilities and expectations include: Promote our mission: Inspire swimmers to reach their full potential both in and out of the pool through meaningful, supportive, and individual coaching. Prepare and run practices for their group(s) in line with Inspire's curriculum. Practices are run on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings most of the year, and a combination of weekday mornings and evenings (along with Saturday mornings) in the summer. We are looking for Developmental Lead Group Coaches for the 2023 Long Course Season We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable Swim Coaches to direct and lead our developmental swim group. Swimmers in this group have just joined USA swimming for the first time and are aiming to get their first B cuts. In order to get into the group the swimmers must already be able to dive off the side, be legal in all four strokes (50 of FR and BK and 25 of FL and BR) as well as be able to do a legal 100 IM.  Candidates should be able to show technique driven processes and improvements in swimmers at the developmental level along with being excellent communicators to both swimmers and their parents. Arlington Aquatic Club is operated through the local school system.  Our program is in its third year and has topped 160 swimmers and we expect continued growth.  We swim at Arlington ISD's Natatorium across the street from the Dallas Cowboy's AT&T Stadium with an indoor 50 meter pool and separate shallow pool.   We have a position available for a part-time age group coach.  The age group position entails 3-4 evenings per week from 4:00-7:00pm and typically one swim meet per month.  The group coached would be based on the coaching candidates best fit.  Pay Range = $16-22 per hour.
