Working under the direction of the head coach to assist with various job duties including helping with the Senior Group as needed and recruiting new swimmers. Emphasizing proper stroke technique and understand the progression for each training group. Conducting test sets, dry land sessions following the season plan, tracking performance and communicating this information to parents, conduct parent and athlete meetings, attending coaches’ meetings and all other functions related. Creating a training plan and conducting workouts geared towards maximizing the swimmer's potential for primary training groups of highly committed 12 & Unders while overseeing the developmental 14 & Under program. Working with all coaches to ensure that athletes 12 & under are being prepared for long-term progression through the team. Performing administrative functions including, but not limited to, swim meet entries, parent and athletes meetings, attend weekend swim meets as scheduled, coaching at swim meets and management of team rosters. Running clinics and camps and develop cohesive lesson program to feed into the developmental half of the swim team. Helping to coordinate/manage corporate functions at the health club. Job Description The Hickam Hurricanes are looking to hire a reasonably experienced coach to join our team on deck! We will be undergoing a few changes in our staffing in the coming months and would like to get ahead of the learning curve. About the team: The Hickam Hurricanes are a non-profit military only USA swimming club. We are located on Hickam Air Force Base, right next to Pearl Harbor (if you are non military that is not a problem, as base access can be granted via sponsorship). Due to being located on a military instillation, our membership is limited to military only families which usually leaves our active member count to over 100 swimmers, depending on the time of the year. About the position: One of our coaches is moving away in the next few months so her position would be passed along to the best qualified candidate. We would prefer to hire sooner than later, so that said candidate has time to get acquainted with the groups and have an easy transition once this coach departs. The typical weekly schedule is: 3:00pm - 6:30pm Monday to Friday 7:00am - 10:00am Saturday As needed for swim meets Responsibilities: You will be directly in charge of both the Mini 1 and Mini 2 age groups, acting as a first line of contact for parents should they have questions and report to the Head Coach. Depending on current staff, you will be required to coach at least the Mini 1 group each day, but possibility of coaching Mini 2 as well on certain days. Once finished with those groups, you will switch over to either the Gold or Elite groups assisting one of the coaches in charge of those groups. This way you will get to know the majority of the team as well as get to coach all levels on the team. Experience requested: Since you will be covering a large variety of skill levels we are asking: At least 1-2 years coaching experience, especially with 10&Under age groups Experience with a USA swimming club Certifications/Registration as a USA swimming coach (if expired, renewal must be completed before first day on deck) Willingness to be flexible on a daily basis with what groups you will be in charge of Prior experience as a swimmer is not required, but it helps Salary: All coaching staff are on an hourly based salary. Northeast Houston Aquatics - NEHA is seeking highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic coaches to help develop our rapidly growing swim program. NEHA is a year round USA Swimming affiliated swim club located in the New Caney ISD Natatorium that focuses on technique and endurance training for all levels of swimmers ages 6-18. Job Description: Part-Time M-F: 5-8pm , Sat: 9-11am, plus swim meets and 1 one hour monthly coaches meeting. Experience working with children and large groups. The primary purpose of the Aquatics Manager is to provide outstanding service through warm interactions.  The secondary responsibilities are to manage and supervise all employees and operations of the Aquatics Division including both the leisure pool and competition pool, and beach in a professional manner.  Other responsibilities include: program planning and administration, leadership and coaching for our competitive swim team, personnel and budget management, and aquatic facility and equipment management. Employees in this classification must represent the RecPlex in a professional manner, while instructing and monitoring personnel, members, guests, and program participants.   Job Duties ·Must be able to manage the competitive swim team including working with existing coaches and staff while growing the team in numbers and talent. ·Responsible for managing the Learn to Swim lesson program while growing participant numbers and swim instructors. ·Responsible for recruiting championship bids and the bid process for hosting and managing rented and hosted swim meets, open water swims, and events both indoor and outdoor. ·Interface with RecPlex Website, Guest Services, RecPlex Managers, and Business Office on all Aquatics Programming. ·Coordinate aquatics marketing plans. ·Must be capable of scheduling, training, supervising and evaluating a large number of lifeguards, swim instructors, and aquatic personnel of varying ages and emotional maturity. ·Must meet or exceed budget targets for revenues, and budget limits for labor costs and direct costs. ·Must facilitate staff meetings with aquatic staff and swim team. ·Must maintain administrative records and create reports including:  attendance reports, program reports, payroll documentation including approval of employee time sheets, accident reports and personnel evaluations; conduct regular performance reviews, at prescribed intervals; keep staff informed of regular, new and upcoming activities, events, policies, programs and so on. ·Work with outside vendors and sponsors to make sure we are adhering to agreements and promoting best business practices. ·Must be able to coordinate with other recreation managers, facility supervisors and school administrators for scheduling and reservations of program facilities. ·Must create a positive hospitality and be accessible and visible. ·Must establish and maintain a set work schedule; ensure adequate coverage during all hours of operation; work within payroll budget in areas of responsibility. ·Must be energetic, enthusiastic and motivational. ·Must know and enforce all RecPlex, Village and department rules, regulations, policies, standard operating procedures and guidelines. ·Must work shifts as Manager on Duty including: opening/closing of the facility; physical inspection of the entire building; ensure safety of employees and patrons in the facility and administer CPR or first aid as needed; set up, put away and maintain athletic equipment; maintain cash control of the safe and front desk drawer; complete paperwork. ·Must have the ability to apply principles of influence, such as motivation, incentive and leadership systems. ·Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. ·Maintain effective working relationships with employees, peers, coordinators, and the public. ·Ability to visually monitor pool and beach areas and respond quickly to emergency situations. ·Ability to obtain and maintain preferred certifications. ·Requires the ability to perform highly skilled coordinated movements, such as utilizing a rescue tube, spinal board, Shepherd’s Crook and other safety and first aid procedures. ·Must have knowledge of life guarding techniques; Jeff Ellis & Associates swimming programs; pool safety; water chemistry. ·Must be able to perform other duties and special assignments as directed by the Operations Superintendent and Director of Recreation including assignments that may be outside the primary area of employment.     Physical Requirements ·Requires high degree of interaction and communication with staff and public.  Works closely with Operations Superintendents, RecPlex Managers, and Director of Recreation.  Work subject to varying shifts.  Majority of work performed is indoors in an aquatic atmosphere.  The work requires long periods of attentiveness, standing, sitting, pulling, pushing, reaching, carrying, cleaning, visual monitoring, verbal and written communication, hearing, moderate lifting 15-50 pounds, periods of extensive public contact and exposure to stressful and emergency situations. ·RecPlex is located in Prairie Springs Park at 9900 Terwall Terrance, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.  Hours will vary with evening, weekend, and holiday work required.  Work is usually performed during typical daytime and early evening hours, but diversity of special events and workload, as well as available staffing and budget, requires weekend and evening hours.   Requirements - educational, certifications and experience ·Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Business or related field is required.  Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 5 - 10 years of aquatics experience with significant experience coaching and managing a competitive swim team. Strong verbal and written skills are mandatory as well as high proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.  Extensive customer service and public relations are required.   Coaching Policy Athletic/team Coaches are hired to instruct/teach specific skills where the coach is the teacher and the player(s) is/are the learner(s) and instill teamwork both during team practices and games.  Coaches are not hired to participate with the players during scrimmages or active play, or endurance/strength training.  

The Assistant Coach Position will report directly the Club Owner and Head Coach. Applicant should have a strong swimming background (competing at the college level preferred) and strong interpersonal skills with both children and adults. Applicants must be hands-on, detail oriented, and foster a positive attitude within the Club. Must be certified with USA Swimming as a non-athlete coach member, passing required USA Swimming background and coaching tests. Applicants must be able to travel locally (and occasionally regionally) for swim meets. Red 1 is an entry level group with our youngest kids learning the basics of strokes and correct technique.  Red 2 is our second group and has kids that know the strokes, have the basic techniques and understand the rules of swimming. They are in the beginning stages of complex sets and are able to read the clocks.  Red 3 is our older swimmers that know the strokes, can comprehend and carry out complex yardage sets, read the clocks and are  preparing for advanced groups and/or High School Swimming.  Additional help with assisting the Head Coach in the advanced groups will be discussed with interview. Hours: Monday: 4:00-6:30 PM Tuesday: 4:00- 6:30 PM Wednesday: 4:00-6:30 PM Thursday: 4:00- 6:30 PM Additional hours will be available if needed/able. Expected to attend Swim Meets as primary Club coach if needed. Expect 6-8 hours per each day of the meet. Expected to attend community events representing team within the Verrado Community positively. These hours will be compensated. We are looking for an assistant age group coach to start with our club May 2020. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, enthusiastic and good with younger, beginning swimmers. We are located in Farmington, NM.  We are a year-round competitive age group swim team. Our swimmers range from age 5- 18 primarily with varying levels of abilities. Hours would be Monday-Friday 5:45 pm-7:45 pm in addition to morning practice during summer months 7:00 am-9:00 am Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Some weekend travel to meets as needed. Travel reimbursement available to be discussed upon hire. Some administrative work may apply as directed by the board or head coach. Salary depending on experience. Hi Coach! Trident Aquatics is completing construction of our new aquatic center this fall. Our new facility will house our club team, a swim school (Waves Swim Academy), Master's swimming, and many additional aquatic courses and activities.  Founded in 2014, Trident has placed swimmers up to national level competition, Olympic Trials, National Jr. Team and is proud of a high graduate placement rate into collegiate swimming (72%). As we open our new aquatic center, we will be able to grow our program, and resources in many ways. So, the leadership of all of our programs is a key focus for us.
