Colorado Athletic Club - Inverness A Wellbridge Company Englewood, CO (Lone Tree) Part-time: M-F mornings & afternoons, weekends optional We are looking for a Masters Swim Coach! Who we are: Colorado Athletic Club is Denver’s leading upscale athletic, aquatics, tennis and family fitness club with 7 convenient locations across Colorado’s Front Range. Our club supports the lifestyles of busy professionals, families, health enthusiasts and those who simply strive to be more active by providing a wide spectrum of unique fitness and wellness services. What our Masters Swim Coaches are all about: Our Masters Swim Coaches are experienced professionals with a passion for helping adults achieve their water fitness or competitive swimming goals. They enjoy analyzing performance, providing instruction on swimming techniques and working with our aquatics department to prepare for competitive events. Some responsibilities include: Be on deck to help coach masters swim team for variety of scheduled practices (days & times to be determined) Monday – Saturday. (See CACIMaster.com for practice schedule) Provide routine pool maintenance tasks throughout the week before or after coaching (brushing walls, cleaning gutters, testing chemicals, cleaning decks, fixing tiles, etc); Option to teach swim lessons during the week during the daytime (able to coordinate your own schedule outside of coaching). Option for more hours coaching USA Swimming Team CAC Stingrays if proper certification requirements are met. (See CACStingrays.com for practice schedule / team info) What you’re all about: A joy and enthusiasm for working with children and helping them improve their competitive performance. Former USS / USA Swimming Athlete USMS or USA Swimming Coach certification or willing to obtain within 1-5 weeks of hire. 3 years of previous coaching experience and/or aquatics experience. An ASCA Level II certification (or higher) is highly desirable but not required. First Aid, Concussion, Safe Sport, and/or Swim Coach Water Rescue certified or willing to obtain within 1-3 weeks of hire. High School diploma or general education degree (GED); Bachelor’s degree ideal. Exceptional communication and motivation skills with children with the ability to consider varied social, emotional and physical attributes. An attitude of inclusion and team building.
