The Fort Belvoir Swim Team is seeking (1) Full-time Coach and (2) Part-time Coaches. The Full-time position responsibilities are: On-deck Coaching approximately 30 hours a week; Administrative duties approximately 10 hours a week. Experience with Meet Manager and Team Manager preferred.  Experience as a Meet Director preferred.  Training will be provided if needed.  Willingness and ability to Coach a wide variety of athletes.  Motivating personality, ability to interact with parents with strong rapport and encourage swimming as a life-time sport.  Salaried position with potential for increased income with high school and summer league swim coaching.   The Part-time positions responsibilities are: On-deck Coaching approximately 4-10 hours a week depending on availability.  Assist main group Coach with Age Group Swimmers and manage our bridge program with autonomy.

Under the supervision of the­­­­­­­­­­­ Senior Director of Competitive Swimming, the YOTA Age Group Site Coach is responsible for the leadership and direction of the YMCA’s Competitive Swimming program at the Chapel Hill N.C. site. They are responsible for managing these functions in accordance with the stated mission, goals, and policies established by the administrative staff, governing committees. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides vision, leadership, and management of the day-to-day operations of the successful, values-oriented YMCA of the Triangle competitive swimming program for our YMCA site that includes multiple age group levels. Recruits and hires diverse staff and volunteer teams across multiple dimensions of diversity.  On-boards and develops them for success. Provides vision, leadership, and management to the part time staff that includes coaching and leadership traits to ensure a high quality swim program. Models relationship-building skills in all interactions. Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with community organizations. Leads implementation of open, clear, consistent and effective communication with athletes, parents, branch staff, volunteers and coaches. Abides by the YMCA of the USA Swimming and Diving, ASCA, and USA Swimming Code of Ethics. Serves as an ambassador to the community by actively promoting the YMCA aquatics and wellness programs. Maintain open communication with participants, parents, YOTA staff and all YMCA Aquatics staff members. Work with Senior Director of Competitive Swimming Team to establish annual program goals and work toward accomplishing these goals. Plan, prepare, and conduct team practices in accordance with program objectives, guidelines, and policies including attendance records, skill reviews and training plans. Prepare and submit all necessary information for swim meets and attend meets as assigned. Support the Senior Director of Competitive Swimming by monitoring the budget and adhering to the budget philosophy of the YMCA of the Triangle. Assists in Annual Campaign by recruiting volunteers and supporting team events in coordination with campaign efforts. Other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor. AGUA Masters Head Coach
Asphalt Green Masters is one of the fastest growing adult swim teams in the country with more than 250 registered members with a wide range of ages and swim abilities.  The AGUA Masters Head Coach is responsible for leading the overall growth and development of the AGUA Masters team as well as supporting Asphalt Green’s non-profit efforts.  AGUA Masters offers 25+ weekly practices in 2 locations, and a robust staff of 20 part-time coaches.  The Head Coach is responsible for developing, implementing, and preserving a progressive training program that supports athletes of all skill levels.  Moreover, the Head Coach focuses on increasing swimmer engagement and enhancing the team’s overall sense of community.  As the Masters champion for fundraising, the Head Coach works closely with the Development Team to insure that AGUA Masters team members appreciate and support Asphalt Green’s non-profit mission of assisting individuals of all ages and backgrounds achieve health through a lifetime of sports and fitness.  The Head Coach requires outstanding interpersonal skills in order to foster positive relationships with every Masters swimmer, and the ability to support personal development of these swimmers as appropriate.   Within the larger Asphalt Green community, the Head Coach will work in partnership with the Aquatics Department, Membership Department, Development Department, senior managers, and other AG stakeholders.  This position reports into the Director of Aquatics and oversees the AGUA Masters Team at both the Upper East Side campus as well as the Battery Park City campus.  New campuses are planned in the next few years that would also include Agua Masters Teams.   Responsibilities  Oversee year-round training program of roughly 250 Asphalt Green Masters Plan and schedule coaches each month for practices. Make sure all workouts are covered. Manage 20 part-time coaches who coach both workouts and private lessons. Must be highly visible, leading select practices (which include morning’s and Saturday’s), and engaging with all athletes.  Should personally be coaching 16-20 hours per week. Organize and promote social activities for the team Plan and develop financial budgets for team and private lessons for two campuses. Work with marketing to promote increased membership and private coaching.  Work closely with Development Department to identify potential donors and establish key relationships with members. We are looking for a full-time assistant club swim coach that is willing and able to coach with the on-site club team and perform team and facility duties as necessary.  The RISD Aquatic Center is a 56,000 sq.ft, 50 meter X 25 yard facility with 2 movable bulkheads, 2X1m and 2X3m diving boards and a 4-lane swim lesson pool.  RACE is a year-round swim team with roughly 375 members that include 13 different levels (visit www.rockwallaquatics.com for more team information).    RACE has achieved 3 Silver Level and 3 Bronze Level National Club Excellence Awards from USA Swimming over the last 6 years. The  Vashon Seals Swim Team  is a Level 1 USA-Swimming Club on Vashon Island - located in between Seattle and Tacoma, Washington. We are a member of the Pacific Northwest Swimming LSC.  Our team is growing and we are in need of additional coaches. Ideal candidates will have a passion for swimming and working with young athletes in a fun and dynamic atmosphere that promotes camaraderie and personal achievement.  Our program is focused on competitive and non-competitive swimmers between the ages of 5 and 18, and we offer six different levels of instruction: Seal Pups, Stroke School, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Swim Fit (60 to 70 swimmers in total). We train at the  Vashon Community Pool  (6 lanes - 25 yards) and enjoy the best of both worlds with 6 months of outdoor swimming and 6 months of swimming under an inflatable bubble.  Vashon is a unique and breathtaking place and we are lucky to have a wonderful group of kids and supportive families.
