The Fort Belvoir Swim Team is seeking (1) Full-time Coach and (2) Part-time Coaches. The Full-time position responsibilities are: On-deck Coaching approximately 30 hours a week; Administrative duties approximately 10 hours a week. Experience with Meet Manager and Team Manager preferred.  Experience as a Meet Director preferred.  Training will be provided if needed.  Willingness and ability to Coach a wide variety of athletes.  Motivating personality, ability to interact with parents with strong rapport and encourage swimming as a life-time sport.  Salaried position with potential for increased income with high school and summer league swim coaching.   The Part-time positions responsibilities are: On-deck Coaching approximately 4-10 hours a week depending on availability.  Assist main group Coach with Age Group Swimmers and manage our bridge program with autonomy.

Location: Cub Run Rec Center Chantilly, VA, USA   Immediate opening for 11 month part time position   The  Potomac Marlins  USA Swimming Team is looking for an enthusiastic coach (or coaches) interested in coaching our novice and entry level age group swimmers. The Marlin’s Cub Run facility has close to 200 swimmers from 8 and under through Sectional/Jr. National level swimmers. We’re looking for a coach that understands it starts at the base of the pyramid and is excited to work with our novice level swimmers.  The coach will be responsible for implementing a stroke oriented program for swimmers ages 8 and under. There is also a second novice level age group program that meets twice a week with swimmers ages 9-14. Age Group Coach who can make it to practices Monday-Friday from 4:30-6:30pm and be able to attend about 1 PVS meet a month. Could make extra money teaching private lessons as well.

Team Overview: CYAC is both a YMCA and USA Swimming based competitive and year round program that is located in Charlottesville, Virginia. CYAC has approximately 230 athletes and trains out of Brooks Family YMCA and Claudius Crozet Park.   Job Description: Lead Age Group Coach at Brooks Family YMCA.   Job Responsibilities: -Lead Coach for two groups: Gold (10-13 years of age)/Bronze (7-10 years of age). -The Coach that will be selected for this position will also have the opportunity to work with our top high-school practice group a few times a week. -Bi-weekly email communication with practice group membership. -Managing coaching staff, working with team membership, and managing practice schedules. -Website maintenance and updates. -Bi Weekly Coaching staff meetings. -Attendance at appropriate swim meets. -Team Unify Swim meet coordinator. -Social Media coordinator. -Monthly Team Newsletter coordinator.       Additional Requirements: -Current USA Swimming and YMCA coaching credentials. -Working knowledge of Team Unify. -Effective leader with the ability to communicate, motivate, and guide swimmers of all ages.
