Head Age Group Coach

The East Coast Aquatic Club (ECAC), located in Delray Beach, Florida, is searching for a qualified Age Group coach. Delray Beach is located in the South East coast of Florida, approximately 25 minutes south of West Palm Beach. The ECAC swim program is a young yet very successful age group program. It is one of the fastest growing teams in the area with approximately 100 members. For more information about ECAC, please visit our website at www.swimecac.com Facility: ECAC is a year-round program training at the Aqua Crest Pool only 2 miles from the beach. It is an 8 lane 50 Meter X 25 yard pool on the east side and 25 meters on the west side. ECAC is engaged in a long-term contract with the Palm Beach County for pool usage. Job Responsibilities: The Age group coach is responsible for selective groups of children 9-14 years old. The coach is responsible for writing daily practices, dry land and preparing seasonal plans for his/her groups, according to club philosophies. He/She will emphasize teaching all aspects of swimming with focus on stroke technique and good work ethics while making great efforts to achieve success at the age group level. Qualifications: The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of coaching experience with USA Swimming or another FINA federation. He/ She must have completed the background check and safe sport (athlete protection) program, and must be in good standings with USA Swimming. The candidate should be a high energy, positive person, with great communication skills, working well with swimmers, parents and other coaching staff. This is a part time position. Salary is competitive based on experience with potential to earn more through private lessons, swim camps, etc... The position is available immediately, but will be filled by the most qualified and fitting applicant. Practice times are from: 4:00-7:00pm (Monday through Friday) and 8:30-10:30am (Saturday) with extended hours during summer and holidays. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in designing and execut ing the training plan for the group. Attend swim meets as assigned . Execute strong communication skills with all athletes, parents, and staff . Assist in a dminister ing daily workouts and maintain ing group attendance reports. Able to communicate and engage elementary and middle school age athletes in practice and keep them excited about learning and acquiring new skills. Working Conditions and Physical Effort Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, sun exposure, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.

Assistant Coach

Year Round Swim Team seeking a part time Assistant Coach for our Babcock Ranch Location. This candidate will be working with swimmers ages 8-14 and will need to provide individualized swim training in a group setting for developmental swimmers and/or competitive age group swimmers. Must work well as a team. Needs to be able to teach all four legal strokes, provide stroke and technique feedback, and create training workouts for multiple levels of athletes. Levels/Age Group Coach

We are excited to announce the opening for a Levels/Age Group Coach in Land O Lakes, FL in the Tampa area. Job Responsibility – Assistant Coach: Coaches will be responsible for between 4 – 15 hours of on-deck coaching per week, and may attend 1 weekend meet per month. Hours will depend on groups and coach availability.
