Reports To General Manager General Description Responsible for providing innovative direction and support in all aspects of the aquatics operation.  The Director will be the Junior Head Swim Coach, Supervise both Swim Lessons & Lifeguard operations as well oversee the Master Swim Program.  Responsibilities and Duties Head Coach, Gold River Stingrays Recruit, train, schedule and supervise swim team staff. Support the organization in planning, budgeting, promotion and evaluation of all swim team activity. Oversee the control and safety of the pool during clinics, practices and meets. Head Age Group Coach/Aquatics Supervisor Tuesday – Saturday   The JCC Bridgewater Tide (BWTD), located in Bridgewater, NJ, is seeking a full-time swim coach and Aquatics Supervisor to be the primary coach for our Tidal Waves, Bronze, and Senior group programs. The Tidal Waves and Bronze groups are the base of our program, and it is a great opportunity to instruct new swimmers and to get them engaged in the sport. The Senior group is our second-highest level group and is full of high school swimmers looking to improve. The Head Age Group coach will also assist in tasks in the Aquatics Department, as well as oversee the Summer Pool Club.   BWTD is a swiftly growing and improving program, which has grown from less than 90 swimmers in 2017 to a maximum of 140 swimmers in the summer of 2019 with ability levels ranging from novice to AAA level swimmers. We are also New Jersey’s first and only SafeSport-recognized program. We have a close-knit, hardworking staff that is proud of our success, but are always looking to improve. The Fort Belvoir Swim Team is seeking (1) Full-time Coach and (2) Part-time Coaches. Rockwall Independent School District and the Rockwall Aquatic Center of Excellence (RACE) Swim Team Rockwall, Texas (20 miles East of downtown Dallas) Position: Full-time Assistant Club Coach Overview The Rockwall ISD is seeking a qualified USA Swimming club coach as soon as possible. We are looking for a full-time assistant club swim coach that is willing and able to coach with the on-site club team and perform team and facility duties as necessary.  The RISD Aquatic Center is a 56,000 sq.ft, 50 meter X 25 yard facility with 2 movable bulkheads, 2X1m and 2X3m diving boards and a 4-lane swim lesson pool.  RACE is a year-round swim team with roughly 375 members that include 13 different levels (visit www.rockwallaquatics.com for more team information).    RACE has achieved 3 Silver Level and 3 Bronze Level National Club Excellence Awards from USA Swimming over the last 6 years. TCAT is a year round USA Swimming program that has been in operation for 5 years.  TCAT has swimmers competing at higher level meets including the Lake Erie Zone Team and a recent Jr National qualifier.  More than half of our team currently has National Age Group motivational times and are working to achieving higher competitive standards.  We continue to grow the number of qualifiers to higher level meets and are seeking individuals who will help to build our program with organization, consistency and the desire to help others achieve their fullest potential. The  Vashon Seals Swim Team  is a Level 1 USA-Swimming Club on Vashon Island - located in between Seattle and Tacoma, Washington. We are a member of the Pacific Northwest Swimming LSC.  Our team is growing and we are in need of additional coaches. Ideal candidates will have a passion for swimming and working with young athletes in a fun and dynamic atmosphere that promotes camaraderie and personal achievement.  Our program is focused on competitive and non-competitive swimmers between the ages of 5 and 18, and we offer six different levels of instruction: Seal Pups, Stroke School, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Swim Fit (60 to 70 swimmers in total). Required Qualifications: Current Red Cross Lifeguard certification (AED, CPR, First Aid) or Coaches Water Safety and AED/CPR and First Aid. ASCA Level 2 certified or above. Current USA Swimming certified coach. Extensive experience working with children and teenagers. Strong background in competitive swimming. Must have at least two years of supervisory experience Must have knowledge and experience using Team Unify, Colorado Timing Systems and OME. Head Coach Essential Responsibilities:   Leadership, organization, knowledge of new advance training/coaching techniques, along with dryland implementation for our swimming program. Exceptional organization and leadership skills in order to administrate, direct and lead a staff of 8 assistant coaches for the different groups. Motivate and supervised the various responsibilities of the coaching staff towards the athletes. Evaluate, administer and improve the growth of the CRL swimming team. Utilizing and working with the club’s Swimming Academy as to discover new talent. Being the Swimming Academy the natural pathway “feeder” of the club’s future swimmers. Having a direct responsibility in how, who and when to invite swimmers from the academy into the competitive team. Organize strategic planning with specific standards and goals in order to promote and motivate competitive swimmers of CRL. Having a clear road map in who and when a swimmer is moved into a different training group. Know how and when to delegate responsibilities to the rest of the coaching staff; so, mission and goals can be achieved. Capacity to create a healthy competitive environment. Promoting team spirit above all and the cohesion of the different groups as a “one team vision”. Promote and emphasize stroke technique in order to achieve a better/faster/happier swimmer. Communicate and collaborate with the Swimming Committee, coaching staff and parents through newsletters (weekly), website and social media updates, and email for the purpose of establishing and keeping a clear line of communication for parents/swimmers and all members. Collaborate and support Swimming Committee on the development of budget and fundraising activities, in the form of social & athletic activities, such as Swimathon, sponsors etc.     Qualifications and Expectations for the Head Coach Position   Exceptional qualities of leadership and organization. Bachelor degree (minimum) or higher (Masters preferred, not required) or proven and verifiable stellar coaching accomplishments. Current swimming coaching credentials (background check etc.) in good standing and abide by USA Swimming code of conduct. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional qualities in coaching and mentoring young athletes, as well as a passion for coaching. South Shore Sails Swim Team The South Shore Sails is located in League City, Texas. We are looking for a new Head Coach. We have on average 180-200 swimmers from developmental to the national level. We operate out of The Fitness Center at South Shore Harbour and surrounding high school pools. We have access to a 50 meter pool for the long course season. We have degreed fitness specialists for dry land training. The South Shore Sails are a Bronze level status team and a club recognition level one.
