Maintain certification level of physical and mental readiness.  Responsible for recertification before expiration. Actively participate in training sessions, designated meetings and special events. Qualifications:      Must be 17 years of age or older. High School diploma or equivalent, desired. Current YMCA Lifeguard certification or equivalent. Current Basic Life Support, First Aid and Emergency Oxygen certifications. Demonstrate swim strokes, lifeguard rescues and BLS/BFA/EO skills. Boulder Swim Team - Assistant Swim Coach Boulder Swim Team is looking for a qualified coach eager to learn and contribute to our program. Candidates need to be certified in CPR/AED, First Aid, and Lifeguard or Coaches Safety Training, and any other required certifications per USA Swimming and/or CO Swimming. Also must be able to pass a background check. Boulder Swim Team will reimburse all employees for required education/training/certifications. General Summary:   Assistant coach with all age groups. Duties include analyzing performance and instructing competitive swimming technique for children ages 7 - 18 years old. Schedule : 5 shifts per week (M-F, 4-7pm), plus 1 meet weekend per month. Qualifications: Coaching membership in good standing with USA Swimming. Minimum 1 year (preferred 3yrs) previous coaching and/or aquatics experience. ASCA Level 1 or above certification preferred. Candidates should have exceptional communication and motivation skills with children. Additional Requirements: Work under the direction of the head coach Provide input on training plan and conduct workouts. Emphasize proper stroke technique and understand the progression for each training group. Conducting test sets, dryland sessions following the season plan, tracking performance, and attending coaches’ meetings and all other functions related. The East Coast Aquatic Club (ECAC), located in Delray Beach, Florida, is searching for a qualified Age Group coach. Delray Beach is located in the South East coast of Florida, approximately 25 minutes south of West Palm Beach. The ECAC swim program is a young yet very successful age group program. It is one of the fastest growing teams in the area with approximately 100 members. For more information about ECAC, please visit our website at www.swimecac.com Facility: ECAC is a year-round program training at the Aqua Crest Pool only 2 miles from the beach. It is an 8 lane 50 Meter X 25 yard pool on the east side and 25 meters on the west side. ECAC is engaged in a long-term contract with the Palm Beach County for pool usage. Job Responsibilities: The Age group coach is responsible for selective groups of children 9-14 years old. The coach is responsible for writing daily practices, dry land and preparing seasonal plans for his/her groups, according to club philosophies. He/She will emphasize teaching all aspects of swimming with focus on stroke technique and good work ethics while making great efforts to achieve success at the age group level. Qualifications: The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of coaching experience with USA Swimming or another FINA federation. He/ She must have completed the background check and safe sport (athlete protection) program, and must be in good standings with USA Swimming. The candidate should be a high energy, positive person, with great communication skills, working well with swimmers, parents and other coaching staff. This is a part time position. Salary is competitive based on experience with potential to earn more through private lessons, swim camps, etc... The position is available immediately, but will be filled by the most qualified and fitting applicant. Practice times are from: 4:00-7:00pm (Monday through Friday) and 8:30-10:30am (Saturday) with extended hours during summer and holidays. We are looking for an assistant age group coach to start with our club May 2020. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, enthusiastic and good with younger, beginning swimmers. We are located in Farmington, NM.  We are a year-round competitive age group swim team. Our swimmers range from age 5- 18 primarily with varying levels of abilities. Hours would be Monday-Friday 5:45 pm-7:45 pm in addition to morning practice during summer months 7:00 am-9:00 am Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Some weekend travel to meets as needed. Travel reimbursement available to be discussed upon hire. Some administrative work may apply as directed by the board or head coach. Salary depending on experience. We're seeking an  Aquatics Administrative Assistant   to join our team. As our new  Aquatics Administrative Assistant you will: Create schedules for  Swim Instructor and Aquatics Service Desk Staff Assist in new swim lesson instructor staff member orientation, staff training, and performance reviews Act in a leadership role in the absence of the Aquatics Director and/or Assistant Aquatics Director Assist members and non-members with registration for swim lessons and swim team programs Receive and process registration fees Supervise the  Aquatics Desk staff with organization, customer service and establishing best practices for the administrative side of all our Aquatic programs Assist with keeping members, participants and all club staff informed of changes to the schedule, cancellations, rentals and any other events Schedule additional staff when demands are high Highly focused on customer service and on improving the overall efficiency of the aquatics programs Take all necessary steps to solve member problems, complaints and concerns Other tasks as assigned Required Qualifications:   Minimum of  1 year of supervisory experience Minimum of 1 year of customer service Minimum of 1 year of swim lesson instruction and building curriculum & swim team structure Minimum of 1 year of computer knowledge (Google calendar, Word, etc)   Preferred Qualifications: 2 years or more experience in Aquatics Accuracy and attention to detail Strong knowledge of teaching progressions for children and adults Experience with Team Unify and/or other scheduling software programs Superior communication skills and the ability to relate to diverse populations Enthusiastic, responsible and team-oriented Current Red Cross certification (AED, CPR, First Aid, Coaches Water Safety or Lifeguard)   Physical Requirements: Candidates applying for this position should be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds unassisted Frequent walking, sitting; bending, stretching, lifting, pushing, pulling and squatting are movements performed daily Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in extreme weather changes
