POSA is a non-profit, year round competitive swim program founded in 1963. We are the primary feeder program to the community high schools of District 230. The team generally consists of 125 to 150 swimmers, and ranges in age and ability from 5-18 years old. POSA competes year-round in the USA Swimming sanctioned meets within Illinois and near-by LSC of IN.  We train in a 25-yard, six/seven lane pool located at Carl Sandburg High School.
