Head Age Group Coach/Aquatics Supervisor Tuesday – Saturday   The JCC Bridgewater Tide (BWTD), located in Bridgewater, NJ, is seeking a full-time swim coach and Aquatics Supervisor to be the primary coach for our Tidal Waves, Bronze, and Senior group programs. The Tidal Waves and Bronze groups are the base of our program, and it is a great opportunity to instruct new swimmers and to get them engaged in the sport. The Senior group is our second-highest level group and is full of high school swimmers looking to improve. The Head Age Group coach will also assist in tasks in the Aquatics Department, as well as oversee the Summer Pool Club.   BWTD is a swiftly growing and improving program, which has grown from less than 90 swimmers in 2017 to a maximum of 140 swimmers in the summer of 2019 with ability levels ranging from novice to AAA level swimmers. We are also New Jersey’s first and only SafeSport-recognized program. We have a close-knit, hardworking staff that is proud of our success, but are always looking to improve. We are looking for a coach who is willing to help us continue to grow our team, develop our younger swimmers, and is truly passionate about the sport.   Head Age Group Coach Job Tasks include, but are not limited to: Being the lead coach for the Tidal Waves, Bronze, and Senior group practices. Designing season plans in accordance with the Head Coach. Assisting with other training groups as needed. Attending scheduled USA Swim meets. The Buffalo City Swim Racers is in search of an Administrative Manager to assist with administrative operations of our swim club. This organization has both Learn to Swim and Competitive Swim programs. We’re looking for a highly organized and efficient professional with administrative experience and a basic understanding of swim clubs, though we are willing to provide in-house training. The successful candidate will provide assistance with all administrative activity, including those in accounting and customer service. BCSR is looking for an individual who is comfortable working on tasks both independently or with employees and/or leadership and who can contribute to the overall improvement of our club’s efficiency and productivity metrics. The selected candidate will be required to pass a USA Swimming Background Check, Athlete Protection Training and adhere to all USA Swimming and USOC Safe Sport protocols. The East Coast Aquatic Club (ECAC), located in Delray Beach, Florida, is searching for a qualified Age Group coach. Delray Beach is located in the South East coast of Florida, approximately 25 minutes south of West Palm Beach. The ECAC swim program is a young yet very successful age group program. It is one of the fastest growing teams in the area with approximately 100 members. Job Responsibilities: The Age group coach is responsible for selective groups of children 9-14 years old. The coach is responsible for writing daily practices, dry land and preparing seasonal plans for his/her groups, according to club philosophies. He/She will emphasize teaching all aspects of swimming with focus on stroke technique and good work ethics while making great efforts to achieve success at the age group level. Qualifications: The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of coaching experience with USA Swimming or another FINA federation. He/ She must have completed the background check and safe sport (athlete protection) program, and must be in good standings with USA Swimming. The candidate should be a high energy, positive person, with great communication skills, working well with swimmers, parents and other coaching staff. This is a part time position. TCAT is a year round USA Swimming program that has been in operation for 5 years.  TCAT has swimmers competing at higher level meets including the Lake Erie Zone Team and a recent Jr National qualifier.  More than half of our team currently has National Age Group motivational times and are working to achieving higher competitive standards.  We continue to grow the number of qualifiers to higher level meets and are seeking individuals who will help to build our program with organization, consistency and the desire to help others achieve their fullest potential. The  Vashon Seals Swim Team  is a Level 1 USA-Swimming Club on Vashon Island - located in between Seattle and Tacoma, Washington. Job Description: Head Coach – Age Group Competitive (AGC) Group The Metro Atlanta Aquatic Club, LLC (MAAC) is looking for an hourly head coach for our Age Group Competitive (AGC) level group. The AGC group  consists of age group swimmers between ages 7-13 who may be newer to the sport of swimming. Northern Dutchess Aquatic Club (NDAC-MR)  is looking for qualified swim coaches for our 2019-20 season and beyond. Celebrating its 25th Season this year, NDAC is a year-round USA Swimming team for competitive swimmers aged 6-18. NDAC seeks motivated, experienced lead coaches for two practice groups:  (1) Group 1 Coach - swimmers aged 6-8 practices Monday, Wednesday and Friday 4-5 PM and Saturday noon to 1 PM.  (2) Group 3 Coach - swimmers aged 11-13 practices Monday through Friday 7-8:30 PM.  Ideal candidates should have a competitive swimming background and previous coaching or swim instruction experience (preferably at the age group level). Head Age Group Coach & Lifeguard The Upper Main Line YMCA (UMLY) is seeking an experienced person to work a full-time position of head age group coach for our 9-12 year-old swim team groups.  The candidate will play an integral role on our both our Aquatics and Competitive staff team. The UMLY team is nationally ranked in YMCA Swimming, having just placed 4th at YMCA Nationals. We also have maintained a USA Swimming Bronze Level recognition for the past 3 years.  The successful candidate will oversee the training and development of our age groups 2 and 3 (Approximately 100 swimmers). This person will be responsible for leading part-time assistant coaches. This is a full time hourly position (40 hours per week).  The typical week is 30 hours coaching and 10 hours guarding. During the weeks that team is not in session, this position will work the majority of hours in the aquatics department.     Qualifications: Age group coaching experience - 3 years preferred. Prior swim coach experience and knowledge of aquatic/swim team programs is required Essential Duties and Responsibilities Membership in USA Swimming and successful completion of all required certifications Plan and schedule all MAVS programs; develop curriculum, schedule and staffing plan for all routine practice sessions Attend in coach capacity and manage all staff during all practice sessions Participate in staff recruitment and evaluation activities Evaluate programs seasonally and report back to the MAVS Board with recommendations on new or expanding business ideas Make recommendations on training (seminars, conventions, workshops, and other extended learning opportunities) for MAVS coaches and lifeguards Complete an accurate and timely monthly timesheet Attend all swim meets in which MAVS swimmers are participating in Communicate with MAVS Board, parents, and swimmers in a courteous and timely manner during on deck hours when appropriate, by phone, and/or Report planned and unplanned absences to the MAVS Board and coaching staff andensure that proper coaching coverage is provided for all practices and/or swim meets Submit a schedule for meets and other scheduled activities to MAVS Board on a quarterly basis? EXPERIENCE Minimum of 5 years coaching experience as head or assistant coach ASCA Level 2 Certification or higher Member of ASCA and USA Swimming Competitive swimming experience required Experience with swim meet and team management software: Team Unify Current CPR for the professional Rescuer, AED and First Aid certifications Current Oxygen Administration certification Current Lifeguard certification Current WSI or YSI Safety Training for Swim Coaches certification
