ASSISTANT HEAD SWIM COACH with Las Trampas Swim Team The Las Trampas Swim Team (LTST) in Lafayette, California seeks an Assistant Head Swim Coach beginning the 2020 summer rec season!  LTST is a family-oriented, parent supported member of the Diablo Community Swim League. At the heart of the LTST community are approximately 200 children who enjoy improving their swimming skills in a competitive atmosphere.     The Assistant Head Swim Coach is primarily responsible for supporting the Head Coach by managing swim practices and meets, providing constructive technical guidance to swimmers, leading the team of Assistant Coaches, and attending social and spirit events. The ideal candidate for this position: Has a competitive swimming background and understands proper stroke technique, starts and turns. Is passionate about working with young swimmers and fostering individual improvement, strong character, teamwork, team spirit and fun. Is a natural leader, who is effective and comfortable mentoring swimmers (ages 4-18). Has coaching and supervisory experience; must be able to lead a team of Assistant Coaches (ages 15-18). Is available for the duration of the rec swimming season: April 20 through May 29:   Practices are weekday afternoons/evenings. June 1 through July 30: Practices are weekday mornings. May 17 through August 2: Meets are typically Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, occasionally Sundays. A detailed calendar will be provided. Some schedule flexibility can be discussed. Support the team by developing meaningful relationships with swimmers, fellow coaches, parents and team leadership. Help run meets smoothly, talking to swimmers before and/or after their races. Help ensure that swimmers are present and focused for their races. Teach private swim lessons on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons (June and July). Promote safety at the pool by following and enforcing proper precautions and pool rules. The Salem YMCA is seeking a leader with a background in aquatics to manage the operations of our Aquatics Department.   The Aquatics Director is responsible for all aspects of the instructional and recreational aquatics experience. Head Age Group Coach/Aquatics Supervisor Tuesday – Saturday   The JCC Bridgewater Tide (BWTD), located in Bridgewater, NJ, is seeking a full-time swim coach and Aquatics Supervisor to be the primary coach for our Tidal Waves, Bronze, and Senior group programs. The Tidal Waves and Bronze groups are the base of our program, and it is a great opportunity to instruct new swimmers and to get them engaged in the sport. The Senior group is our second-highest level group and is full of high school swimmers looking to improve. The Head Age Group coach will also assist in tasks in the Aquatics Department, as well as oversee the Summer Pool Club.   BWTD is a swiftly growing and improving program, which has grown from less than 90 swimmers in 2017 to a maximum of 140 swimmers in the summer of 2019 with ability levels ranging from novice to AAA level swimmers. The East Coast Aquatic Club (ECAC), located in Delray Beach, Florida, is searching for a qualified Age Group coach. Delray Beach is located in the South East coast of Florida, approximately 25 minutes south of West Palm Beach. The ECAC swim program is a young yet very successful age group program. Qualifications: The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of coaching experience with USA Swimming or another FINA federation. Alpha Aquatics is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Senior Level Coach available to join our staff as soon as possible and coach at the brand new El Segundo-Wiseburn Aquatics Center in sunny El Segundo, California. Position: Head Age Group Coach Club: Peoria Area Water Wizards (“PAWW”)  Location: Peoria, Illinois 61604 The Peoria Area Water Wizards (PAWW) are a year-round USA Swimming team offering high-quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. As one of the premier USA swim clubs in the Midwest, PAWW prides itself on creating a positive environment and enriching experience for all members of the club. The goal is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to elite-level competitors.  PAWW has three practice locations and over 300 registered athletes. PAWW is accredited with a Level 3 certification per USA Swimming’s Club Recognition Program. PAWW hosts multiple swim meets and events, throughout the year, including Illinois Swimming Regional Championship Meets.  PAWW also has a US Master's Program, with a swim team that competes nationally and trains at our Central Park Pool location. PAWW directly maintains, operates, and manages its Central Park Pool facility, while also renting the facility to outside groups for other aquatic activities.  We are seeking a Head Age Group Coach to aid our team’s development. AHI Swim Team, located in American Canyon, CA, (Napa County) is a program of excellence instilling a lifelong love of swimming. We are a Spring/ Summer Recreational Swim Team, part of the Twin County Swim League, following Contra Costa County Swim Rules, serving approximately 130 swimmers ages 4-18 in our community. The team is organized and managed by a volunteer parent board, and parent volunteers run the meets. We swim at the American Canyon High School Pool beginning late March, continuing through early August. Practices are held weekday evenings in April and May and switch to a combination of morning and evening for the summer. Coach schedules will be considered before summer practice times are finalized. Swim meets are held Saturday mornings or Wednesday evenings in June and July with 1-2 full weekend meets plus two all-day Saturday meets also planned. AHI seeks coaches for the 2020 season, coaches must be at least 18 years of age with a love of swimming and at least one year of competitive swimming or coaching experience. Coaches will collaborate with the coaching staff and parent board to inspire young swimmers to do their best as a valuable member of the team, encourage mentorship among swimmers, teach good sportsmanship, and to improve youth swimmer performance at all levels.
