ASSISTANT HEAD SWIM COACH with Las Trampas Swim Team The Las Trampas Swim Team (LTST) in Lafayette, California seeks an Assistant Head Swim Coach beginning the 2020 summer rec season!  LTST is a family-oriented, parent supported member of the Diablo Community Swim League. At the heart of the LTST community are approximately 200 children who enjoy improving their swimming skills in a competitive atmosphere.     The Assistant Head Swim Coach is primarily responsible for supporting the Head Coach by managing swim practices and meets, providing constructive technical guidance to swimmers, leading the team of Assistant Coaches, and attending social and spirit events. The ideal candidate for this position: Has a competitive swimming background and understands proper stroke technique, starts and turns. Is passionate about working with young swimmers and fostering individual improvement, strong character, teamwork, team spirit and fun. Is a natural leader, who is effective and comfortable mentoring swimmers (ages 4-18). Has coaching and supervisory experience; must be able to lead a team of Assistant Coaches (ages 15-18). Is available for the duration of the rec swimming season: April 20 through May 29:   Practices are weekday afternoons/evenings. June 1 through July 30: Practices are weekday mornings. May 17 through August 2: Meets are typically Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, occasionally Sundays. A detailed calendar will be provided. Some schedule flexibility can be discussed. Maintains certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR with AED, and First Aid (or can become certified prior to beginning work). Plan practice sets with specific areas of focus, under the direction of the Head Coach. Lead quality practice sessions with attention and enthusiasm. Support the team by developing meaningful relationships with swimmers, fellow coaches, parents and team leadership. Help run meets smoothly, talking to swimmers before and/or after their races. Help ensure that swimmers are present and focused for their races. Teach private swim lessons on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons (June and July). Promote safety at the pool by following and enforcing proper precautions and pool rules. Head Age Group Coach/Aquatics Supervisor Tuesday – Saturday   The JCC Bridgewater Tide (BWTD), located in Bridgewater, NJ, is seeking a full-time swim coach and Aquatics Supervisor to be the primary coach for our Tidal Waves, Bronze, and Senior group programs. The Tidal Waves and Bronze groups are the base of our program, and it is a great opportunity to instruct new swimmers and to get them engaged in the sport. The Senior group is our second-highest level group and is full of high school swimmers looking to improve. The Head Age Group coach will also assist in tasks in the Aquatics Department, as well as oversee the Summer Pool Club.   BWTD is a swiftly growing and improving program, which has grown from less than 90 swimmers in 2017 to a maximum of 140 swimmers in the summer of 2019 with ability levels ranging from novice to AAA level swimmers. We are also New Jersey’s first and only SafeSport-recognized program. We have a close-knit, hardworking staff that is proud of our success, but are always looking to improve. Boulder Swim Team - Assistant Swim Coach Boulder Swim Team is looking for a qualified coach eager to learn and contribute to our program. Candidates need to be certified in CPR/AED, First Aid, and Lifeguard or Coaches Safety Training, and any other required certifications per USA Swimming and/or CO Swimming. Also must be able to pass a background check. Boulder Swim Team will reimburse all employees for required education/training/certifications. General Summary:   Assistant coach with all age groups. Duties include analyzing performance and instructing competitive swimming technique for children ages 7 - 18 years old. Schedule : 5 shifts per week (M-F, 4-7pm), plus 1 meet weekend per month. The Buffalo City Swim Racers is in search of an Administrative Manager to assist with administrative operations of our swim club. This organization has both Learn to Swim and Competitive Swim programs. We’re looking for a highly organized and efficient professional with administrative experience and a basic understanding of swim clubs, though we are willing to provide in-house training. The successful candidate will provide assistance with all administrative activity, including those in accounting and customer service. The East Coast Aquatic Club (ECAC), located in Delray Beach, Florida, is searching for a qualified Age Group coach. Delray Beach is located in the South East coast of Florida, approximately 25 minutes south of West Palm Beach. The ECAC swim program is a young yet very successful age group program. Job Responsibilities: The Age group coach is responsible for selective groups of children 9-14 years old. The coach is responsible for writing daily practices, dry land and preparing seasonal plans for his/her groups, according to club philosophies. He/She will emphasize teaching all aspects of swimming with focus on stroke technique and good work ethics while making great efforts to achieve success at the age group level. Qualifications: The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of coaching experience with USA Swimming or another FINA federation. He/ She must have completed the background check and safe sport (athlete protection) program, and must be in good standings with USA Swimming. The candidate should be a high energy, positive person, with great communication skills, working well with swimmers, parents and other coaching staff. This is a part time position. We are located in Farmington, NM.  We are a year-round competitive age group swim team. Our swimmers range from age 5- 18 primarily with varying levels of abilities. Hours would be Monday-Friday 5:45 pm-7:45 pm in addition to morning practice during summer months 7:00 am-9:00 am Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Some weekend travel to meets as needed. AHI Swim Team, located in American Canyon, CA, (Napa County) is a program of excellence instilling a lifelong love of swimming. We are a Spring/ Summer Recreational Swim Team, part of the Twin County Swim League, following Contra Costa County Swim Rules, serving approximately 130 swimmers ages 4-18 in our community. The team is organized and managed by a volunteer parent board, and parent volunteers run the meets. We swim at the American Canyon High School Pool beginning late March, continuing through early August. Practices are held weekday evenings in April and May and switch to a combination of morning and evening for the summer. Coach schedules will be considered before summer practice times are finalized. Swim meets are held Saturday mornings or Wednesday evenings in June and July with 1-2 full weekend meets plus two all-day Saturday meets also planned. AHI seeks coaches for the 2020 season, coaches must be at least 18 years of age with a love of swimming and at least one year of competitive swimming or coaching experience. TCAT is a year round USA Swimming program that has been in operation for 5 years.  TCAT has swimmers competing at higher level meets including the Lake Erie Zone Team and a recent Jr National qualifier.  More than half of our team currently has National Age Group motivational times and are working to achieving higher competitive standards.  We continue to grow the number of qualifiers to higher level meets and are seeking individuals who will help to build our program with organization, consistency and the desire to help others achieve their fullest potential. We are a member of the Pacific Northwest Swimming LSC.  Our team is growing and we are in need of additional coaches. Ideal candidates will have a passion for swimming and working with young athletes in a fun and dynamic atmosphere that promotes camaraderie and personal achievement.  Our program is focused on competitive and non-competitive swimmers between the ages of 5 and 18, and we offer six different levels of instruction: Seal Pups, Stroke School, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Swim Fit (60 to 70 swimmers in total). We train at the  Vashon Community Pool  (6 lanes - 25 yards) and enjoy the best of both worlds with 6 months of outdoor swimming and 6 months of swimming under an inflatable bubble.  Vashon is a unique and breathtaking place and we are lucky to have a wonderful group of kids and supportive families. The anonymous, carefully vetted, Argo voice-over team of accomplished NCAA and high-level age group coaches just keeps growing. Each week we have different openings. This week's open slots call for new NCAA/Level 3+ coach-candidates, preferably female, insofar as the current team-balance goes. Job Description: Head Coach – Age Group Competitive (AGC) Group The Metro Atlanta Aquatic Club, LLC (MAAC) is looking for an hourly head coach for our Age Group Competitive (AGC) level group. The AGC group  consists of age group swimmers between ages 7-13 who may be newer to the sport of swimming. Northern Dutchess Aquatic Club (NDAC-MR)  is looking for qualified swim coaches for our 2019-20 season and beyond. Celebrating its 25th Season this year, NDAC is a year-round USA Swimming team for competitive swimmers aged 6-18. NDAC seeks motivated, experienced lead coaches for two practice groups:  (1) Group 1 Coach - swimmers aged 6-8 practices Monday, Wednesday and Friday 4-5 PM and Saturday noon to 1 PM.  (2) Group 3 Coach - swimmers aged 11-13 practices Monday through Friday 7-8:30 PM.  Ideal candidates should have a competitive swimming background and previous coaching or swim instruction experience (preferably at the age group level). Must be upbeat, energetic and highly committed to the development of young athletes, both in and out of the pool. NDAC’s 2019-20 season begins September 5th.
