Boulder Swim Team - Assistant Swim Coach Boulder Swim Team is looking for a qualified coach eager to learn and contribute to our program. Candidates need to be certified in CPR/AED, First Aid, and Lifeguard or Coaches Safety Training, and any other required certifications per USA Swimming and/or CO Swimming. Also must be able to pass a background check. Boulder Swim Team will reimburse all employees for required education/training/certifications. General Summary:   Assistant coach with all age groups. Duties include analyzing performance and instructing competitive swimming technique for children ages 7 - 18 years old. Schedule : 5 shifts per week (M-F, 4-7pm), plus 1 meet weekend per month. Qualifications: Coaching membership in good standing with USA Swimming. Minimum 1 year (preferred 3yrs) previous coaching and/or aquatics experience. ASCA Level 1 or above certification preferred. Candidates should have exceptional communication and motivation skills with children. Additional Requirements: Work under the direction of the head coach Provide input on training plan and conduct workouts. Emphasize proper stroke technique and understand the progression for each training group. Conducting test sets, dryland sessions following the season plan, tracking performance, and attending coaches’ meetings and all other functions related. Reliable transportation to practices, meets and team functions required. Candidates who apply must submit a resume.

We are looking for an assistant age group coach to start with our club May 2020. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, enthusiastic and good with younger, beginning swimmers. We are located in Farmington, NM.  We are a year-round competitive age group swim team. Our swimmers range from age 5- 18 primarily with varying levels of abilities. Hours would be Monday-Friday 5:45 pm-7:45 pm in addition to morning practice during summer months 7:00 am-9:00 am Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Some weekend travel to meets as needed. Travel reimbursement available to be discussed upon hire. Some administrative work may apply as directed by the board or head coach. Salary depending on experience. Carolina Aquatic Team is seeking part time qualified coaches to work with our developmental groups as well as fill in for other practice groups as needed. The ideal candidates are energetic, knowledgeable, passionate about swimming, and able to communicate with parents, coaches and athletes. Carolina Aquatic Team developmental groups practice at the Orange County SportsPlex, Edison Johnson Aquatic Center, and Campus Hills Recreation Center in Hillsborough/Durham NC.   Minimum Qualifications: Previous coaching experience preferred (Summer League Swim Teams and Lessons are recognized) Ability to work, train, and instruct one or multiple practice groups from either 4:30-6:00 PM, or 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm Monday-Friday. Must be able to work weekends for swim meets averaging once per month. Strong swimming background and teaching knowledge Strong customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Duties: Maintain full USA Swimming Coaching Certification at all times, must complete all certification requirements within 30 days of hire (reimbursement for certifications provided by Carolina Aquatic Team) Planning and writing daily workouts for you group(s) Attending scheduled meets Meet entries Contribute in Staff communications and discussions Track group attendance Opportunity: Compensation based on experience, achievements and other factors. Beautiful coastal town seeking a head age group coach/ assistant coach to work with swimmers ages 6 ~ 17 and assist to expand our team. Prior swim coach experience and knowledge of aquatic/swim team programs is required Essential Duties and Responsibilities Membership in USA Swimming and successful completion of all required certifications Plan and schedule all MAVS programs; develop curriculum, schedule and staffing plan for all routine practice sessions Attend in coach capacity and manage all staff during all practice sessions Participate in staff recruitment and evaluation activities Evaluate programs seasonally and report back to the MAVS Board with recommendations on new or expanding business ideas Make recommendations on training (seminars, conventions, workshops, and other extended learning opportunities) for MAVS coaches and lifeguards Complete an accurate and timely monthly timesheet Attend all swim meets in which MAVS swimmers are participating in Communicate with MAVS Board, parents, and swimmers in a courteous and timely manner during on deck hours when appropriate, by phone, and/or Report planned and unplanned absences to the MAVS Board and coaching staff andensure that proper coaching coverage is provided for all practices and/or swim meets Submit a schedule for meets and other scheduled activities to MAVS Board on a quarterly basis?
