Enforce aquatics safety rules consistently and fairly. Perform second duties, as requested, only when not lifeguarding. Maintain positive relationships with members and staff. Follow the directions of the YMCA of Greater New York aquatic supervisors, in accordance with the YMCA aquatic standards. Must attain the YMCA Lifeguard certification within 90 days of hire. Maintain certification level of physical and mental readiness.  Responsible for recertification before expiration. Actively participate in training sessions, designated meetings and special events. Qualifications:      Must be 17 years of age or older. High School diploma or equivalent, desired. Current YMCA Lifeguard certification or equivalent. Current Basic Life Support, First Aid and Emergency Oxygen certifications. Demonstrate swim strokes, lifeguard rescues and BLS/BFA/EO skills. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Excellent hospitality skills. The East Coast Aquatic Club (ECAC), located in Delray Beach, Florida, is searching for a qualified Age Group coach. Delray Beach is located in the South East coast of Florida, approximately 25 minutes south of West Palm Beach. The ECAC swim program is a young yet very successful age group program. It is one of the fastest growing teams in the area with approximately 100 members. It is an 8 lane 50 Meter X 25 yard pool on the east side and 25 meters on the west side. ECAC is engaged in a long-term contract with the Palm Beach County for pool usage. Job Responsibilities: The Age group coach is responsible for selective groups of children 9-14 years old. The coach is responsible for writing daily practices, dry land and preparing seasonal plans for his/her groups, according to club philosophies. He/She will emphasize teaching all aspects of swimming with focus on stroke technique and good work ethics while making great efforts to achieve success at the age group level. Qualifications: The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of coaching experience with USA Swimming or another FINA federation. He/ She must have completed the background check and safe sport (athlete protection) program, and must be in good standings with USA Swimming. The candidate should be a high energy, positive person, with great communication skills, working well with swimmers, parents and other coaching staff. This is a part time position. Salary is competitive based on experience with potential to earn more through private lessons, swim camps, etc... The position is available immediately, but will be filled by the most qualified and fitting applicant. Practice times are from: 4:00-7:00pm (Monday through Friday) and 8:30-10:30am (Saturday) with extended hours during summer and holidays. Carolina Aquatic Team is seeking part time qualified coaches to work with our developmental groups as well as fill in for other practice groups as needed. The ideal candidates are energetic, knowledgeable, passionate about swimming, and able to communicate with parents, coaches and athletes. Carolina Aquatic Team developmental groups practice at the Orange County SportsPlex, Edison Johnson Aquatic Center, and Campus Hills Recreation Center in Hillsborough/Durham NC.   Minimum Qualifications: Previous coaching experience preferred (Summer League Swim Teams and Lessons are recognized) Ability to work, train, and instruct one or multiple practice groups from either 4:30-6:00 PM, or 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm Monday-Friday. Must be able to work weekends for swim meets averaging once per month. Job Description: Head Coach – Age Group Competitive (AGC) Group The Metro Atlanta Aquatic Club, LLC (MAAC) is looking for an hourly head coach for our Age Group Competitive (AGC) level group. The AGC group  consists of age group swimmers between ages 7-13 who may be newer to the sport of swimming. Our swimmers are refining their competition strokes – butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle – and working on building yardage and endurance at practices.  Coaching Credentials: (Must be completed prior to reporting on first day) -Foundations of Coaching Course -USA Swimming Background Check -Safe Sport Training -CPR/First Aid -Safety for Swim Coaches Coaching & Instruction: -Must coach and instruct swimmers during the training times submitted by the employer and at the discretion of the Head Coach -Notify Head Coach and Team Manager of all major parent complaints, issues that need to be addressed -Maintain accurate record of attendance in groups -Must record all workouts through Commit Swimming App/Website (if applicable) -Meet coverage is required for all meets where AGC swimmers are participating -Must prepare and run dryland workouts (30 minutes) for AGC swimmers -Must have availability to coach Saturday morning practice -Technical swim planning (including drill work, starts, turns and yardage) required   Administrative Duties: -Maintain appropriate setup and clean up before and after practice each day (including equipment closet and dryland areas) -Must assist in evaluations for placement for MAAC swim program -Must adhere to the coaches training manual and hand book -Must attend coaches meetings (as scheduled) -Collaborate with Coaching Staff to create, design and manage season plans for AGC Group -Update and Submit Meet entries through Team Unify for all meets with AGC Swimmers   Team Events/Functions: -Coaches Orientation and Season Planning Meetings -Attend Team Banquet in Spring -Attend State Team Dinner in February -Attend Annual TeamParent Meeting in Fall Travel, Room & Board: MAAC will provide the following for all travel meets (if applicable): -Hotel, room and board -$40 gas reimbursement for meets that require 20 miles or more of travel. -MAAC will provide per diem in the amount of $40 for travel meets in which host team do not provide meals and/or MAAC does not provide meals for coaching staff. -For travel meets, or coaches clinics, MAAC will provide all meals and travel and the coaches will not receive per diem and/or gas reimbursement.   Coaches Apparel & Equipment Provided by MAAC: -5 MAAC T-Shirts -1 MAAC Hoodie/Sweatshirt -1 MAAC Polo   Dress Code for Practice Sessions: -Any MAAC t-shirt/polo or sweatshirt Dress Code for Meets: -MAAC Polo   Training Schedule: -Please refer to training schedule located on the team website www.maacswim.com -Coaches are expected to arrive at the pool no later than 15 minutes prior to the assigned practice time -All practices take place at the Campus Recreation Center at Georgia Tech, 750 Ferst Drive, Atlanta, GA   Compensation:  -Pay Rate $15-17/hour commensurate with experience and references   Experience: -Competitive Swim Experience Required (high school level required, college level preferred) -Swim Lesson Teaching/Coaching Experience Required -Club Level Coaching Experience Required (minimum 3 years)   Application Requirements: -2 Professional Swimming References -5 Sample workouts (for age group swimmers age 8-12; approximately 3000 yards per workout) -Sample Season Plan (Fall through Spring)

Northern Dutchess Aquatic Club (NDAC-MR)  is looking for qualified swim coaches for our 2019-20 season and beyond. Celebrating its 25th Season this year, NDAC is a year-round USA Swimming team for competitive swimmers aged 6-18. NDAC seeks motivated, experienced lead coaches for two practice groups:  (1) Group 1 Coach - swimmers aged 6-8 practices Monday, Wednesday and Friday 4-5 PM and Saturday noon to 1 PM.  (2) Group 3 Coach - swimmers aged 11-13 practices Monday through Friday 7-8:30 PM.  Ideal candidates should have a competitive swimming background and previous coaching or swim instruction experience (preferably at the age group level). Must be upbeat, energetic and highly committed to the development of young athletes, both in and out of the pool. NDAC’s 2019-20 season begins September 5th.
