The Village of Shorewood Hills is accepting applications for the position of Pool Manager. This is presently a part time, year round position with seasonally adjusted and flexible hours. The position is responsible for managing all operations of the pool including staffing, purchasing, programming and mechanical functions including opening and closing. During the summer season, the pool employs about 70-80 individuals. The Village encourages a wide range of individuals to apply, including those with management, aquatics programming, and staffing expertise. Mechanical/technical aptitudes in maintaining a pool are desirable. Head Age Group Coach/Aquatics Supervisor Tuesday – Saturday   The JCC Bridgewater Tide (BWTD), located in Bridgewater, NJ, is seeking a full-time swim coach and Aquatics Supervisor to be the primary coach for our Tidal Waves, Bronze, and Senior group programs. The Tidal Waves and Bronze groups are the base of our program, and it is a great opportunity to instruct new swimmers and to get them engaged in the sport. The Senior group is our second-highest level group and is full of high school swimmers looking to improve. The Head Age Group coach will also assist in tasks in the Aquatics Department, as well as oversee the Summer Pool Club.   BWTD is a swiftly growing and improving program, which has grown from less than 90 swimmers in 2017 to a maximum of 140 swimmers in the summer of 2019 with ability levels ranging from novice to AAA level swimmers. We are also New Jersey’s first and only SafeSport-recognized program. We have a close-knit, hardworking staff that is proud of our success, but are always looking to improve. We are looking for a coach who is willing to help us continue to grow our team, develop our younger swimmers, and is truly passionate about the sport.   Head Age Group Coach Job Tasks include, but are not limited to: Being the lead coach for the Tidal Waves, Bronze, and Senior group practices. Job Description The mission of the JCCSF Swim Team is to provide young swimmers with quality coaching that will help them develop and enhance their swimming and endurance skills. Assistant Head Coach-Novice Groups Head Coach
The Assistant Coach Position will report directly the Club Owner and Head Coach. Applicant should have a strong swimming background (competing at the college level preferred) and strong interpersonal skills with both children and adults. Applicants must be hands-on, detail oriented, and foster a positive attitude within the Club. Must be certified with USA Swimming as a non-athlete coach member, passing required USA Swimming background and coaching tests. Duties:   Primary Coach- Red Team, Secondary Coach- Black Team Provide Swim Lessons for additional compensation The Red Team consists of 3 groups. They are entry level groups and consist of kids ages 4-11. Red 1 is an entry level group with our youngest kids learning the basics of strokes and correct technique.  Red 2 is our second group and has kids that know the strokes, have the basic techniques and understand the rules of swimming. They are in the beginning stages of complex sets and are able to read the clocks.  Red 3 is our older swimmers that know the strokes, can comprehend and carry out complex yardage sets, read the clocks and are  preparing for advanced groups and/or High School Swimming.  Additional help with assisting the Head Coach in the advanced groups will be discussed with interview. Hours: Monday: 4:00-6:30 PM Tuesday: 4:00- 6:30 PM Wednesday: 4:00-6:30 PM Thursday: 4:00- 6:30 PM Additional hours will be available if needed/able. The successful candidate will provide assistance with all administrative activity, including those in accounting and customer service. BCSR is looking for an individual who is comfortable working on tasks both independently or with employees and/or leadership and who can contribute to the overall improvement of our club’s efficiency and productivity metrics. The selected candidate will be required to pass a USA Swimming Background Check, Athlete Protection Training and adhere to all USA Swimming and USOC Safe Sport protocols. The East Coast Aquatic Club (ECAC), located in Delray Beach, Florida, is searching for a qualified Age Group coach. Delray Beach is located in the South East coast of Florida, approximately 25 minutes south of West Palm Beach. The ECAC swim program is a young yet very successful age group program. It is one of the fastest growing teams in the area with approximately 100 members. Job Responsibilities: The Age group coach is responsible for selective groups of children 9-14 years old. The coach is responsible for writing daily practices, dry land and preparing seasonal plans for his/her groups, according to club philosophies. He/She will emphasize teaching all aspects of swimming with focus on stroke technique and good work ethics while making great efforts to achieve success at the age group level. Qualifications: The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of coaching experience with USA Swimming or another FINA federation. He/ She must have completed the background check and safe sport (athlete protection) program, and must be in good standings with USA Swimming. The candidate should be a high energy, positive person, with great communication skills, working well with swimmers, parents and other coaching staff. This is a part time position. Salary is competitive based on experience with potential to earn more through private lessons, swim camps, etc... We are looking for an assistant age group coach to start with our club May 2020. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, enthusiastic and good with younger, beginning swimmers. We are located in Farmington, NM.  We are a year-round competitive age group swim team. Our swimmers range from age 5- 18 primarily with varying levels of abilities. Hours would be Monday-Friday 5:45 pm-7:45 pm in addition to morning practice during summer months 7:00 am-9:00 am Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Some weekend travel to meets as needed.
