Elko Swim Team (EST), of Elko, Nevada is seeking a part time coaching staff member to join our competitive swim team. Team information may be found on our website: teamunify.com/srest  RESPONSIBILITIES  Direction and guidance in swim technique and endurance training. Must maintain coaching credentials with USA Swimming and Snake River Swimming Must support rules, regulations, and Safe Sport policies endorsed by EST, USA Swimming, and Snake River Swimming. Take direction from Head Coach and/or EST Board of Directors. Stay involved with recruitment and development of swimmers. Must be able to work evening training sessions, between 45 minutes and 1.5 hour long sessions, depending upon availability.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to teach technique and willingness to learn additional technique coaching skills Competitive swimming background preferred, but not required Teaching or coaching background helpful Current USA Swimming Coaching Certification or willing to complete the training within 45 days Pass criminal background check Safety training for swim coaches Safe Sport educational requirements must be completed prior to actively coaching Any additional USA Swimming requirements as needed APPLICATION PROCESS Send resume and a statement indicating how you will benefit Elko Swim Team and why you would like to be considered for a coaching position to elkoswimteam@gmail.com and/or mail to: Elko Swim Team P.O.
