Cape Fear Aquatic Club in Wilmington, NC is seeking a part-time assistant swim coach. The assistant coach will lead our athletes during practices and meets, instructing and inspiring our swimmers in a fun and positive environment. Three to five evening shifts per week are required, which may range from one to three hours depending on the age group; there will also be regularly scheduled weekend meets that range from 8 to 12 hours each. The Fort Belvoir Swim Team is seeking (1) Full-time Coach and (2) Part-time Coaches. The Full-time position responsibilities are: On-deck Coaching approximately 30 hours a week; Administrative duties approximately 10 hours a week. Experience with Meet Manager and Team Manager preferred.  Experience as a Meet Director preferred.  Training will be provided if needed.  Willingness and ability to Coach a wide variety of athletes.  Motivating personality, ability to interact with parents with strong rapport and encourage swimming as a life-time sport.  Salaried position with potential for increased income with high school and summer league swim coaching.   The Part-time positions responsibilities are: On-deck Coaching approximately 4-10 hours a week depending on availability.  Assist main group Coach with Age Group Swimmers and manage our bridge program with autonomy.

The Assistant Coach Position will report directly the Club Owner and Head Coach. Applicant should have a strong swimming background (competing at the college level preferred) and strong interpersonal skills with both children and adults. Applicants must be hands-on, detail oriented, and foster a positive attitude within the Club. Must be certified with USA Swimming as a non-athlete coach member, passing required USA Swimming background and coaching tests. Applicants must be able to travel locally (and occasionally regionally) for swim meets. Duties:   Primary Coach- Red Team, Secondary Coach- Black Team Provide Swim Lessons for additional compensation The Red Team consists of 3 groups. They are entry level groups and consist of kids ages 4-11. Red 1 is an entry level group with our youngest kids learning the basics of strokes and correct technique.  Red 2 is our second group and has kids that know the strokes, have the basic techniques and understand the rules of swimming. They are in the beginning stages of complex sets and are able to read the clocks.  Red 3 is our older swimmers that know the strokes, can comprehend and carry out complex yardage sets, read the clocks and are  preparing for advanced groups and/or High School Swimming.  Additional help with assisting the Head Coach in the advanced groups will be discussed with interview. Hours: Monday: 4:00-6:30 PM Tuesday: 4:00- 6:30 PM Wednesday: 4:00-6:30 PM Thursday: 4:00- 6:30 PM Additional hours will be available if needed/able. We are looking for an assistant age group coach to start with our club May 2020. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, enthusiastic and good with younger, beginning swimmers. We are located in Farmington, NM.  We are a year-round competitive age group swim team. Our swimmers range from age 5- 18 primarily with varying levels of abilities. Hours would be Monday-Friday 5:45 pm-7:45 pm in addition to morning practice during summer months 7:00 am-9:00 am Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Some weekend travel to meets as needed. STAS is a Level 2 USA Swimming Club at Rio del Oro Sports Club in Sacramento , CA. The team is consistently one of the t op teams in Northern California.   The ideal candidate is passionate about the sport of swimming, and is focused on swimmer development, the candidate will lead our program as our S enior Coach and will have oversight over the other coaches. The candidate will lead the search for another coaching hire.   Qualifications/Expectations: • Previous coaching experience . • Maintain the safety and background check requirements required to be a USA Swimming coach member . • A thorough knowledge of competitive swimming and stroke mechanics to coach competitive senior and age group swimmers . • Enthusiastic, energetic, positive role model, team-oriented, dependable, good communicator , with strong leadership qualities. • Develop and implement team and individual goals with the swimmers and monitor the progression of the athletes and team in reaching these goals. • Timely & professional communic ation with parents and swimmers, and club personnel. • Develop and maintain seasonal plans for the progression of our Senior program. • Select the appropriate schedule of seasonal competitions . • Demonstrate s a willingness to communicate with parents to help swimmers achieve their goals .   How to apply: Resumes/questions can be emailed to Aquatics Director : Richard Levin (coachrichard@riorapids.com) This job is open immediately and will be filled quickly with the right candidate.    

Swim Coach The swim coach is responsible for assisting the Aquatics Director in teaching the year round swim team and also offering individual swim lessons for Members in a safe, fun environment that exceeds the Members expectations. Responsibilities Attend swim meets and warm-ups’ Assist in the setup of the pool for training sessions and to maintain as area for non-swim team members to utilize Promote the facility amenities, programs and the Club while maintaining a high level of professionalism and service that aligns with the values, philosophies and standards of the club. Southern California Aquatics, SCAQ Kids located in Culver City, CA, is seeking a reliable part-time novice team coach, 3-4 times a week for 1 hour a day. Perfect for someone looking to make a little extra money. Potential for extra money for the novice meets held periodically throughout the year. Must have experience coaching kids and  knowledge of stroke technique and drills, former swimmers preferable! Start date ASAP. Starting pay $20/hr. Southern California Aquatics is the largest masters swim team in the country. Hired coach would have access to our extensive schedule of swim workouts for adults, as well as a possibility of coaching masters workouts if interested.
