The Village of Shorewood Hills is accepting applications for the position of Pool Manager. This is presently a part time, year round position with seasonally adjusted and flexible hours. The position is responsible for managing all operations of the pool including staffing, purchasing, programming and mechanical functions including opening and closing. During the summer season, the pool employs about 70-80 individuals. acac is seeking a lead competitive coach to work primarily with our senior swimmers in our competitive team. acac also offers USMS Masters Swimming, a non competitive swim program and a summer recreational swim team.  The Assistant Coach conducts practices for acac swim team members following the head coach’s guidelines. The Assistant Coach works with children of different ages and ability levels so that they progress effectively to higher levels of swimming. Essential Functions and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): On deck coaching primarily weekday mornings 5:00 -8:00am (Tuesday - Friday, some Saturdays). Other shifts may become available. Responsible for daily, weekly and season planning for the Senior group with the Head Coach and may attend 1 - 2 meets a month. Plans and conducts effective and progressive practices (in water and dryland) on a solo platform, with assistance from Head Coach. The  Vashon Seals Swim Team  is a Level 1 USA-Swimming Club on Vashon Island - located in between Seattle and Tacoma, Washington. We are a member of the Pacific Northwest Swimming LSC.  Our team is growing and we are in need of additional coaches. Ideal candidates will have a passion for swimming and working with young athletes in a fun and dynamic atmosphere that promotes camaraderie and personal achievement.  Our program is focused on competitive and non-competitive swimmers between the ages of 5 and 18, and we offer six different levels of instruction: Seal Pups, Stroke School, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Swim Fit (60 to 70 swimmers in total). We train at the  Vashon Community Pool  (6 lanes - 25 yards) and enjoy the best of both worlds with 6 months of outdoor swimming and 6 months of swimming under an inflatable bubble.  Vashon is a unique and breathtaking place and we are lucky to have a wonderful group of kids and supportive families. Lead Competitive Coach
Piranhas Aquatic Club is seeking a lead competitive coach to work with swimmers in our competitive team. Piranhas Aquatic Club is a year-round USA swimming program in the Elk Grove area. The organization also offers USMS Masters Swimming and a summer recreational swim team. Job Responsibilities On-deck coaching and prep from generally from 6-7:30 am and 3:30-7:30 pm Monday-Friday. Responsible for daily, weekly, and season planning for the competitive team in coordination with the Head Coach and will typically attend 1-2 meets per month. Works directly with the Head Coach to develop and oversee curriculum and practice schedules for the competitive team. Works directly with the Head Coach to maintain the direction of the program to follow the long-term plan. Assist the Head Coach in developing this plan. Assist with administrative duties for the team, which includes communication to swimmers and parents, develop and implement strategies to retain swimmers and assist with marketing and development of all PAC programs. Supervision of the assistant coaches as assigned by the Head Coach. This includes oversight of training plans, schedules and other. Attend all meets as agreed upon with the head coach. Assist with travel meets for all meets attended for groups that the coach oversees. Compensation Compensation for this position is based on qualifications and availability. Reimbursement for travel and team related expenses.  Team provides funding for coach educational opportunities.

Lakeside Aquatic Club   is currently accepting resumes for the position of   Senior Coach .  The ideal candidate must demonstrate sound knowledge of energy system training, advanced stroke mechanics and the ability to positively motivate and teach swimmers ages 12-18 years old.  This coach would coach two groups with the primary responsibility of coaching our top 13-14 year old group, as well as assisting with our National Team Group. Lakeside Aquatic Club (LAC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization focused on bringing all levels of swimming to the area from learn-to-swim programs to national level development. LAC is one of the largest and most successful teams in the state of Texas, with over 1,000 swimmers. Our swimmers are Olympic Trials qualifiers, Paralympic Trials qualifiers, high school state champions, collegiate athletes and NCAA champions. LAC is a USA Swimming Silver Medal Club and has been a two time Gold Medal Club. LAC currently operates in 5 facilities in 3 areas in NorthEast Tarrant County and Southern Denton County: The Colony, Flower Mound/Lewisville and Keller. Three of LAC’s current facilities are school district owned and operated, two are city owned and operated and LAC has great relationships with all facilities and management.
