The Aquatics Director is responsible for ensuring a safe aquatic experience for all swimmers at the Speer YMCA branch. This position will hire, train and assist either directly or indirectly in the continued certification for all aquatic staff members. In addition, this person will develop, expand and grow all aquatic programs and membership goals as they relate to aquatic participation. The Outdoor Aquatics Center is composed of an 8 lane 25yard lap pool, a smaller warm water teaching pool, and a splash pad. The Center will not only serve YMCA members, but middle school students. Job Summary The Jackson Swim Team is seeking a qualified candidate for the part-time position of Swim Lesson Instructor/ Assistant Coach. Previous swim lesson instruction, coaching, and/or competitive swimming experience is highly preferred. Candidates should have a passion for kids and swimming.
