The Aquatic Recreation Specialist position at Kelly Park/Rock Springs is a fulltime, benefits-eligible position at a dynamic, award-winning park, located in Apopka, Florida (just north of Orlando). This position, in conjunction with the Site Supervisor, is responsible for all waterfront activities and recreational activities in the off-season (for example: Cardboard Canoe Regatta!).  This position trains and evaluates lifeguards, performs daily/weekly/monthly reports, collects fees, opens/closes/secures the site, and other related work. Looking for a responsible individual to manage our outdoor pool from mid May until Labor Day. Duties include lifeguard scheduling and payroll reporting, daily testing of chemicals and pool water management, overseeing daily operations at the pool and maintaining all filtration equipment. CPO is not required, but a plus. This position will also be involved in running practices for a swim team (in house). Salary is $1200 per 40 hour week Memorial Day to Labor Day.
