We are seeking an age group coach to be a lead group coach as well as a senior assistant and senior groups coach.   About Prosper Aquatic Club: The Prosper Aquatic Club (PAC) is a member of USA Swimming and a Prosper ISD program. PAC is a year-round competitive swim team with over 270 swimmers; and a newly-formed water polo club with over 50 participants. Inspire Swimming is a small club operating inside the loop (specifically, we swim at a private facility called The Briar Club). We are looking for lead and assistant coaches to join our staff. Lead coach responsibilities and expectations include: Promote our mission: Inspire swimmers to reach their full potential both in and out of the pool through meaningful, supportive, and individual coaching. Prepare and run practices for their group(s) in line with Inspire's curriculum. Practices are run on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings most of the year, and a combination of weekday mornings and evenings (along with Saturday mornings) in the summer. Certain holidays have slightly different schedules. Attend meet sessions for their group(s) approximately one weekend per month (sometimes more). Primary Objective of Position To coach, lead, and motivate athletes in practice groups, promoting improvement and growth, under the direction of the General Manager and Head Coach, in accordance with the guidelines set forth by Gulf Swimming Local Swimming Committees (LSC) and USA Swimming (USAS). This includes but is not limited to coordinating effective and efficient execution of daily workouts, overseeing swimmer development, season planning and meet scheduling, and timely communication with parents, swimmers, colleagues, and staff.
