Our team is building a new aquatic center (just north of Tulsa, OK) and expanding into a new swim school! Our plan includes providing swim instruction, with an overall progression that leads to our national level swim team. Our new facility will house a teaching pool, and 8 lane, 25 yard hi-tech training pool. We are currently searching for an experienced aquatics director / swim school manager to lead our swim academy (Waves Swim Academy) and overall programming at our brand new aquatic center. Our USA-Swimming Swim Club, Trident Aquatics, has proven very successful helping athletes reach national level competition, national rankings, and even the Olympic Trials. As our next phase of growth, our new aquatic center, located in Owasso, OK (just north of Tulsa), is well underway and expected to be completed later this fall.  We believe we have a tremendous opportunity to positively impact young people, through swimming, from 1-2 years old all the way through Master's programs, and our facility has been designed with this in mind. We're seeking a Swim Instructor to join our team. As our new Swim Instructor you will: Teach various levels and age groups in accordance with the sites instructional guidelines Plan lessons, select appropriate drills, and evaluate the student’s progress  Present proper demonstrations and explain skills, analyze and correct performance, minimize fear, and use appropriate teaching devices Maintain a safe and positive teaching environment Attend all in-service trainings Maintain accurate records and prepare course completion certificates Perform all swimming strokes and skills taught in all levels Effectively communicate each student’s progress either to the student directly, or to the student’s parents where appropriate  Project and promote a professional image  Explain and enforce facility regulations, policies, and procedures to patrons Attend all in-service trainings Other tasks as assigned Required Qualifications: Must be a minimum of 16 years of age Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire Current Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons

We're seeking a Lifeguard to join our team. As our new Lifeguard you will: Maintain watch over the pool area ensuring a secure and safe environment Employ accident prevention by enforcing pool rules and regulations Respond to all injuries, incidents, and emergencies as directed by club policy Teach private & group swim lesson to kids and adults of all abilities Assist in the development, implementation and marketing of innovative swim programs Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the aquatics center Required Qualifications: Must be a minimum of 16 years of age Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire Preferred Qualifications .      Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons      Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire Physical Requirements: Candidates applying for this position should be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted repeatedly throughout the workday  Frequent walking and demonstrating and assisting with exercise movements; bending, stretching, lifting, pushing, pulling and squatting are movements performed daily Ability to be in water for long periods during the day
