Job Title:   Head Swim Team Coach Reports To:   Aquatics Director Position Overview:   The Head Swim Team Coach, following USA Swimming Guidelines, is responsible for leading the Steamboat Springs Swim Team in its mission to provide a safe, encouraging, and positive environment for swimmers to develop as athletes and people. Essential Job Functions: Develops training curriculum for all roster groups. Responsible for competition schedule, meet entries and coach travel. Primary coach for travel meets, approximately 12 per year. Personally coach the most advanced roster group. Assists Aquatics Director in annual program budget and cost controls. Creates and maintains team policies and handbooks. Coordinates with Aquatics Director to schedule Lap Pool use. Hire, schedule and supervise part time Swim Team Coaches.
