This may be the role for you!  As an Aquatics Specialist, you will help children of all ages develop proper swimming techniques and skills through quality instruction.  The Aquatics Specialist is a leader with a talent for teaching others the skills to safely swim in the water and you will also be the bridge between the our YNS Swim Academy and the YNS Competitive Swim program.  Day to day you will prepare lessons, lead swim classes, assess the skill levels of all swimmers, and coach the YNS Competitive Swim Team. The Aquatics Specialists is the liaison between the two programs that will hand pick the youth from the Swim Academy that are ready to compete on the Competitive Swim Team. You will use your interpersonal skills and will build relationships with members and program participants....

Hockomock Area YMCA Lightning is currently looking for an assistant Age Group Coach. The HAY Lightning competes in NE Swimming LCS, as well as the YMCA League. Successful candidate will work along side head coach, and other staff coaching the more competitive age group swimmers that are approximately 10 to 14 years old. Responsibilities: Write, oversee and coach daily workouts Arrives on time to set up and prepare for daily practices. Attends swim meets as needed Communicates with the Head Coach and other staff effectively. Collaborates with other coaches and groups to build a strong seasonal training plan. Attends staff meetings in person or via zoom. Communicates effectively with group parents, appropriately responds to emails, keeps families updated with groups’ practice schedules and swim meet information.
