ROLE SUMMARY Swim Instructors at Mission Viejo Nadadores Swim Academy will be responsible for conducting swim lessons for multiple clients of different age and skill level. At times, Swim Instructors may be asked to perform business related duties as well. This role typically report to the Site Supervisor. ROLE REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to) · Organize and instruct individual students and small groups in swim lessons and aquatic safety. · Ensure lesson objectives adhere to Mission Viejo Nadadores Swim Academy procedures and methods as referenced in the Training Manual and during in service trainings. · Educate and enforce safety rules. Experienced swim instructor needed for a heated backyard pool located in Mar Vista, Los Angeles. Instruction will include most levels, from in-water for beginner children as well as kids needing to learn the strokes or better their technique.  Lesson timeframe includes weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings. *Must have experience with teaching beginner lessons. We are looking for someone to start ASAP and commit to teaching through the summer. COVID compliant precautions in place. Part Time assistant needed.  The job will be  tailored to fit the experience of the right candidate but could include any of the following:  Coaching Senior athletes, Coaching 12 and under swimmers of all levels,  working with novice and advanced Masters Swimmers, beginner lesson instruction, light admin work.   This is a part time hourly positing with pay ranging 18-25 dollars an hour and bonus incentives.
